With the bad rap that pop superstar Justin Bieber has been getting from the media lately, his unannounced visit to typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) victims in the Philippines may have just made up for it.
Justin Bieber arrived in Tacloban, Philippines, unannounced, surprising his fans in the hard-hit area where nearly 6,000 people died and approximately thousands of people hurt when typhoon Haiyan made landfall last month.
The people were so delighted that they seem to have forgotten all the worries that they have, more than a month after the town was devastated by the typhoon. Justin Bieber performed for the crowd in an open stage outdoors.
His fans rejoiced at the surprised visit and glad that such a superstar is willing to help. The star distributed toys and clothes to the children in time for Christmas that they will probably celebrate despite their current situation.
Justin Bieber was recently interviewed by Ryan Seacrest where he claimed that the media negatively portraying him may be likened to being bullied in school. He is one of the foreign and local artists who have rallied the world to help the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines
Thank you Justin Bieber! Thank you!
