Call me lame. Call me an Apple freak. Call me an iFan. I don’t care. I love Apple products. That’s the gist of it.
What I find very amusing after Apple’s announcement of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch is how my Facebook feed becomes filled with vitriolic complains from “fandroids” about how behind Apple is with technology, and how Apple copies functions from Android or that the features and functions used by Apple on their iPhone is really a technology that was created and for androids.
I usually ignore it because I don’t really care! I have an iPhone 5 an I am excited to upgrade to an iPhone 6. Yes, there are features android phones have that I love I love their cameras. Their cameras are far superior that the iPhone cameras. I admit that. I also like the fact that they have the ability to expand their drive. Iphones do not. But, I don’t go on my Facebook wall trashing Android and how user-unfriendly their phones are. I don’t go asking them why is your phone like this and like that and that Apple pioneered great hardware and user-friendly apps. I don’t do that. I know what I like and I don’t care.
Yet, these fandroids (as I just recently learned there is a term for them) couldn’t stop mocking the iPhone or Apple for that matter. Why? Like I stated on my Facebook status yesterday, “Why are the Droid people up in arms about the Apple announcement? Ahhhhhhh, I get it. If you are so much ahead, why are you all mad bro? You don’t see us Apple people getting mad with your announcements. Oh, what announcement? LOL!”
There is a tipping point to everything. I have ignored their comments way too long and it’s time to fight back. I don’t care about android phones! I like my iPhone so stop shoving Androids down my throat! It’s not going to work. When I decide to move over to Android – I will let you all know. For now, I remain loyal to my brand. There’s nothing you can do about it.
Oh, and by the way, yes – 2012 was a great year!
