Our group in South Jersey and Philly is big enough to hold their own Halloween ball but ever since I came here from the West Coast, the group has been going to the Henri David Halloween Ball in Center City. The costumes are so wild, it is the biggest Halloween party in Pennsylvania.
This year however, we opted to skip the ball. We said, $25 was a bit steep for someone to go into the ball plus the cost of the costume – Ugh.
We went to the usual place that we go to. ICandy. It’s a place where we feel most at home because we know the bartenders, security and bar backs so well. We are a group that I must say is well-known in that place as well. We’re rowdy when we need to and we always have a good time without causing any incident. (knock-on-wood).
So, the game today is to guess who’s who among the dressed up group.
It was a night to remember. Fun and laughter was all there was to do. We surprised each other with the costume that we were wearing – you know how that goes.
All in all, it was a night of fun. We have been friends for so many years and we have been doing this year-after-year. Until next year!
