A little but mighty app called Instapray.

Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed?  Everything and anything irritates you and you have this bad feeling inside that is irking you.   Kahit ano pa ang gawin mo, yung isip mo puro bad trip ang lumalaman.  That was my day yesterday.

I had a very quick dream prior to waking up about a person I am not very fond of at this time.  The dream was random and it was probably the trigger point of my set mood yesterday morning.  I was going to blog about it yesterday evening but things got in the way.

Anyhow, just as my day was about to start, I decided to change my day.  I did not want to be in a bad mood all day long and surely, I didn’t want to affect anyone around me either.  With that in mind, I remembered a suggestion made to me by a friend from the Philippines.  I had posted something on Facebook that is of great concern to me and had asked people to pray with me.  One friend replied saying that he is going to pray for me as well but I should try the app called “Instapray“.  I didn’t quite know what it was but I was desperate for an answer so I looked it up, downloaded it and used it.

The app is available to anyone for free and it allows people to ask for prayers, send encouragement to others, and provide uplifting messages world wide.  Instantly after I downloaded the app, I posted my prayer.  Within seconds I received messages that people are praying with me.  It went global so I am receiving messages about prayers being said for me from all over the globe.  It was really overwhelming.  Certainly, a person who sees this simply as an app would not even believe that people are actually praying for you.  I believe in the power of prayer.  I also believe that “For where two or three gather in my (Jesus) name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:20)

My prayer was answered and ever since then, I have relied on this app to ask people to pray for me.  It’s a wonderful community of prayer warriors and they are willing to help pray for whatever it is that you have in your heart.

That is exactly what I did yesterday.  I used Instapray to ask people to pray with me and within seconds, this is what I got.

Wouldn’t you be glad to know that someone else is praying for your needs? I have to tell you, I had a beautiful day yesterday and it couldn’t have been possible if not for the prayers of the people who were willing to spend some time to pray for me.

I admonish anyone of you to try it. It’s a wonderful experience. I have marked my prayer request as “Answered” and thanked those who prayed with me.

Life is good.

  1. Instapray is not a dedicated Christian app. It’s more of a “all spiritual beliefs” app. You may be praying with false gods other than the true God of the Bible. Instapray also supports gay marriage.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Instapray was built on sand and is the reason they are having financial problems right now.

  2. You are absolutely right Ed. My apologies. I was introduced to it by a Christian friend so I thought it was. But I am not going to stop using it because it believes in gay marriage. In fact, I will continue to use it simply because of that.
