During the She Said, He Said segment on Entertainment Live’s December 26 episode, Luis Manzano kept teasing Cristine Reyes who was defensive, albeit in a funny way, as she answered the issues involving the four men in her life. First on his list of questions was if there was any truth to the reports saying that she and ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo had a serious talk about their controversial breakup several months ago. “Yes. To which Dennis agreed in a separate interview, “Maipagmamalaki ko talaga na totoo yun. Kasi nga inayos namin bago mag-Pasko man lang.
It was on the second question that brought about a frantic reaction from Cristine, one that involved rumors linking her to PBB ex-housemate Tom Rodriguez whom she worked with in Precious Hearts Romances Presents Cheating Heart. The two have reportedly been constantly seen together and Cristine often includes Tom in her tweets as well. “Ano ba! Whatever Luis, kakainis. So kapag wala kaming magawa sa set nagpipicture kami. Hindi lang naman si Tom e. Pati si Jake (Cuenca), Janus (del Prado) at Bea (Saw). Nagpi-picture kami tapos tini-tweet ko yun. So it doesn’t mean na close kaming dalawa kasi close kaming lahat sa set.” But since Tom didn’t confirm that she said, Cristine couldn’t help but say, “Ano yung sinasabi niyang kung totoo na tini-tweet ko siya?
When asked if Jake really gave her a special gift for their reunion project, Cristine revealed that it was a pair of signature sunglasses similar to what he wore during a previous shoot. “Kasi one time nag-station ID shoot kami tapos may suot-suot siyang shades. So pag-uwi niya binigyan niya ako. Thank you.’ [Pero] hindi ko siya naisipan bigyan in return, kuripot ako e,” she related, causing the studio audience to laugh.
The last question pertained to her team-up with Vic Sotto in Ang Darling Kong Aswang, which is currently shown in the cinemas as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Apparently, Cristine got nervous during a kissing scene. “Oo, kinabahan talaga ako. Ang bilis ng heartbeat ko. Siguro dahil si Bossing yun. Kasi wala, parang nakaka-star struck siya. Yes, inalagaan naman niya ako all throughout the movie. Walang imikan, wala, kiss lang kami,” she exclaimed. On the other hand, Vic was full of praises for Cristine for being such a great leading lady to work with.
