Biglang nagpatawag ng pocket interview ang manager ni Gabby Concepcion na si Mrs. Rose Flaminiano para sa aktor kahapon, June 13, sa Steak Plus Coffee Shop sa Timog Avenue, Quezon City. Na-cancel kasi kahapon ang taping ni Gabby para sa teleseryeng ginagawa niya para sa ABS-CBN kasama si Claudine Barretto, ang Iisa Pa Lamang. May biglaan daw kasing changes sa production kaya na-cancel ang taping.

Ibinalita naman ni Gabby na nakatakda siyang umalis ng bansa sa August para sa ilang shows.

The most recent movie release by Chito Rono starring Megastar Sharon Cuneta has garnered a record of P 62.8M within 5 days sources said. Mas nadaig pa raw ang opening ng Sex and The City and Indiana Jones release in the Philippines. Woohoo! Talagang pag si Tita Mega ang dumali, siguradong dadagsain ng mga tao.

The reviews are good and although they say that the story line is not that heavy, the story line fits perfectly to a true love story. Have you seen it yet?

“Caregiver” receives “A” rating from Cinema Evaluation Board

Members of the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) have decided to give a grade of “A” for Star Cinema’s 15th anniversary offering, Caregiver. This government agency tasked to evaluate movies intended for commercial release recently announced that Sharon Cuneta’s movie is eligible for a 100 percent amusement-tax exemption.

Star Cinema announces “Caregiver” international screenings

I can’t wait to see this movie. Although it’s funny how they shot the movie in London in a matter of weeks only. Three weeks to be exact. I remember the good old days of film-making. It takes them months to complete. Maybe it’s due to technology advancement. I hope that the movie provides the real experience of OFWs all over the world for all the world to see.

For three weeks, Sharon Cuneta, John Estrada, Rica Peralejo, Jhong Hilario, Makisig Morales, and director Chito Roño toured the city of London to shoot the movie Caregiver. This marks the movie comeback of the Megastar Sharon Cuneta in time for the 15th anniversary celebration of Star Cinema, the production outfit of ABS-CBN. John Estrada recalls that they shot scenes in locations such as Trafalgar Square and Portobello Road. As for Sharon, she experienced health problems called cold sores because of the extreme weather in England. She narrates that she had rashes and the flu (trangkaso) while taping in London.

After Sharon was given a recording contract at the age of 12, singer-composer Rey Valera remembers feeling perplexed when he was commissioned to write a song for the young singer. A straight-ahead love song, according to Valera, didn’t seem fit for someone so young.

But Rey wouldn’t allow himself either to write anything like a nursery tune. He toiled for a few days. Gabby Concepcion apologizes to Sharon Cuneta

Intriga intriga. We all know the issues between Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. Now that Gabby is back in the Philippines, people want to dig out the story and get some kind of closure not only for the Megastar but also to pave the way for Gabby Concepcion’s comeback career in the Philippines.

Sharon Cuneta did say that there was no closure to their troubled past and Gabby thought all the while during his interview with the BUZZ that everything is fine. Now, Gabby understands that there needs to be closure and he is willing to sit down with Shawie to dig up all the issues and talk about it. Gabby does admire the way Sharon raised their daughter, KC Concepcion without malice or influence to hate her father for what he’s done.
