Baron Geisler defends himself after being axed from movie project

Isa ang young actor na si Baron Geisler sa mga dumalong artista sa unveiling ng Star Magic 2009 Catalogue noong Linggo, September 28, sa lobby ng EDSA Shangri-La Hotel sa Mandaluyong City.

Ayon sa 26-year-old aktor, naging parte na siya ng Star Magic noong labindalawang taong gulang pa lamang siya. Dahil dito, lubos ang kanyang pasasalamat sa naturang talent agency sa pagtulong sa kanyang showbiz career, kahit na ilang taon din itong nagbakasyon mula sa telebisyon at pelikula.

Baron Geisler rebuts blog about his getting drunk in Venice

It seems that alcohol-related issues can’t leave Baron Geisler alone. One such controversy surfaced on a showbiz web log (blog), which claimed that the actor got drunk and went wild in Venice, thus missing his flight back to the Philippines.

Baron left last month to attend the Venice International Film Festival, representing the country with the indie film Jay.

The award-winning actor got wind of the news only last night, and was very surprised. He explained to The Buzz, “After the awards night, may cocktails, may kainan. May mga champagne pero everything went okay naman. Tikim-tikim lang.”

Baron Geisler and Mylene Dizon win top acting awards in Cinemalaya 2008

With his voice breaking and his hands shaking, Baron Geisler read the speech that he had prepared for the awarding ceremony of the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival held yesterday, July 20, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Hailed as the Best Actor for the fourth edition of this annual film fest, Baron won for his portrayal of a gay TV show producer who makes a documentary about a homosexual teacher brutally killed in his home. When he accepted his award, the actor called out to his mother, “Mom, may bago tayong idi-display sa bahay!” Baron, the lead character of the Cinemalaya entry Jay, also dedicated his award to the people whom he said did not judge him prematurely.

Baron Geisler hits back, files perjury case against Yayo Aguila

Controversial young actor Baron Geisler filed a perjury case against actress Yayo Aguila during the preliminary investigation of his sex case today, July 18. Baron’s camp alleged that she lied in the sworn statement she submitted to the Justice department with regard to his acts of lasciviousness case.

According to 24 Oras, Baron’s camp argued that Yayo was in America when the incident happened so it would be impossible that she witnessed the allegations thrown at him.

Baron Geisler turns the table on the daughter of William Martinez and Yayo Aguila

When does the victim become the defendant?  Always I would say.  Sometimes, when you try to fight, you end up looking like the one  who wasn’t  the victim but the oppressor.  I can’t understand how Baron Geisler could go up against an accusation that is obviously his personal issue as displayed on Pinoy Big Brother when he was a housemate.  It seems unfair but the world can be unfair sometime.  Why doesn’t he just buckle up and admit he has a problem?

Binuweltahan ng young actor na si Baron Geisler ang anak nina Yayo Aguila at William Martinez na si Patricia Martinez. Sinampahan ni Baron ng reklamong unjust vexation si Patricia bilang sagot sa acts of lasciviousness na isinampa naman ng dalaga sa kanya. Nag-submit si Baron ng kanyang counter-charge affidavit laban kay Patricia noong June 11.

Binaligtad ni Baron ang naging pahayag ni Patricia sa kasong acts of lasciviousness na isinampa ng anak nina Yayo at William laban sa young actor noong Abril. Ayon kay Baron, si Patricia raw ang nagyaya at nagpilit sa young actor. Si Patricia rin daw ang yumakap nang mahigpit kung kaya natamaan ni Baron ang dibdib nito.

Baron Geisler ordered by DOJ to face acts of lasciviousness complaint

Embattled Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition ex-housemate Baron Geisler has been asked by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to answer the acts of lasciviousness complaint filed against him by the daughter of actors William Martinez and Yayo Aguila.

This transpired after the DOJ issued a subpoena against the young actor, asking him to show up on May 23 at 10:30 a.m. for the preliminary investigation. Prosecutor Amanda Felipe prepared the DOJ order according to dzBB.

Embattled young actor Baron Geisler defended himself against the accusation hurdled against him by the daughter of actors William Martinez and Yayo Aguila.

According to the complaint filed by Patricia Martinez, 21, at the Women and Children’s Desk office at Camp Crame in Quezon City, a drunk Baron allegedly invited her to have sex with him during a night out with some friends in a bar in Makati City last Friday, April 25. Baron, as narrated by Patricia, then embraced and proceeded to touch her breasts.

Former matinee idol William Martinez had seen enough of young actor Baron Geisler’s alleged rude behavior.

“This has gone far enough, he should be taught a lesson,” fumed William to ABS-CBN News in an interview earlier today, April 28.

William accompanied his daughter Patricia Martinez to the Women and Children’s Desk office at Camp Crame in Quezon City. Patricia, 21, filed a formal complaint against Baron whom she accused of sexually harassing her during a night out with friends last Friday, April 25. Baron Geisler to star and co-produce a gay-themed indie film

Napaka guwapo nitong si Baron sa Anak, a film with the veteran actress-governor - Ms. Vilma Santos. Naku, ang sarap pisilin ng mga pisngi niya and super cute talaga. First of all, his acting in that film made me feel every ounce of his character. Talagang super-uber-iyak ang lola niyo. But recently, when I saw him on PBB Celebrity Edition - iba na siya. Or, maybe he’s always been like that but the portrayal of his character in the aforementioned movie was the person I fell in love with. Hopefully, maganda ang chorva nitong film na i-shu-shoot niya. It would be nice to see his portrayal of a gay man.

Excited si Baron Geisler sa nangyayari sa kanyang career. He will soon start shooting for a gay-themed indie movie titled Jay, which he’s actually co-producing. Bukod pa rito ang katatapos lang niyang Torotot (Destierro) para sa Viva Digital. Kasama rin siya sa cast ng Star Cinema comedy na Supah Papalicious, kung saan sumusuporta siya kina Vhong Navarro, Makisig Morales at Valerie Concepcion.

Medyo lumalayo si Baron sa kung anu-anong kontrobersiyang nagsasangkot sa kanya diumanong drinking problem.

Newcomer Precious Adona defends Baron Geisler on “kissing scene”

I remember Baron Geisler vividly as the son of Vilma Santos from the movie “Anak” and I really really loved his character there. He actually made me cry a couple of times because he was able to make you feel the pain that he was feeling while playing his character. He was the meek and the humble son who did nothing wrong. It’s so weird to see him in contrast to that character now. I hope that if he does have a problem with alcohol, that he accepts it and get treatment. I will be sorry to see a talent go to waste because of alcoholism.

Isa sa mga pinakabagong Viva Artist Agency (VAA) talent si Precious Adona na introducing sa pelikula ng Viva Films, ang Torotot, starring Maui Taylor, Yul Servo, and Baron Geisler with Maryo J delos Reyes under the helm. Isa sa finalists ng Be Bench, Precious was the third female finalist to be eliminated in the said model search of Bench and ABS-CBN.

Hindi pa man tapos ang production at hindi pa nagsisimula ang promotion ng Torotot, nakagawa na ito ng ingay dahil sa issue na nagalit at nagwala raw si Direk Maryo sa set nito dahil sa pambabastos at paghalik diumano ni Baron kay Precious sa isang eksenang kinukunan. Wala naman daw kasi ito sa script.

Unang lumabas dito ang balita na nagalit at nagbalibag daw ng silya ang batikang direktor na si Direk Maryo J. de los Reyes sa shooting ng pelikulang Torotot. Ang dahilan daw ng sobrang galit ni Direk Maryo ay ang isa sa mga artista ng pelikula na si Baron Geisler. Ayon sa lumabas na kuwento, nakainom daw si Baron habang nasa set at hinalikan daw nito sa isang eksena ang baguhang si Precious Adona kahit wala naman ito sa script.

Para sa iba, patunay lang daw ito na mukhang hindi pa rin natatakasan ni Baron ang pagkalulong niya sa alcohol, na noon pa man ay nagbigay na raw ng kabi-kabilang mga problema at sakit ng ulo para sa dating child actor.

Last Wednesday, February 6, ay nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang PEP na makausap sa telepono si Baron. Nagbigay ng kanyang panig ang aktor tungkol sa panibago na namang negatibong balita tungkol sa kanya.
