One of the most sought after faces in fashion, 21-year old French male model Baptiste Giabiconi has recently posed nude for Interview Magazine.  He is no stranger to nudity as he had already posed nude many times before.

He’s not only a model, he’s a singer as well.  His debut single “Showtime” was unveiled last fall.

Danica Magpantay – Winner 2011 Ford Supermodel of the World Representing Philippines

Danica Flores Magpantay from the Philippines took home the prestigious title of Supermodel of the World 2011!

Supermodel of the World (Ford Supermodel of the Year, formerly Face of the 80s) is an international modeling contest established byEileen Ford in 1980. The contest showcases young fashion model entrants from over 50 countries in order to discover new talent for the fashion industry. The winner of the international final event receives the industry’s largest prize, a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models. The two runners up receive contracts of $150,000 and $100,000 respectively.

Filipino talents rocked the world in 2010 and it looks like we have a great start for 2011.

Burberry’s Menswear Autumn / Winter 2011 Fashion Show – January 15th, Milan

I’ve never been to an actual fashion show except for charity and fund raising. I have attended many of those. But for high-end fashion shows, I can only dream. If I was as prolific about fashion as Bryanboy is, maybe I will be invited to such fashion shows and fashion week around the globe – but I am not. So for now, I can only appreciate what those people experience when watching live fashion shows and what the runway really looks like.

Burberry had their Menswear Autumn / Winter 2011 Fashion Show in Milan last Saturday, January 15th and they have posted the video. First, I wanted to see the video because of the cute models (did you think any less of me?! Haha!) but I was so shocked at the show’s ending and to my disbelief, I actually had to watch it over and over again. I LOVE IT!!!

If you want to see what happens at the end of the show, it would be best to watch the whole thing. Of course, the main theme was winter coats and autumn wear. They are all fabulous. I promise, you will probably be as giddily shocked as I was. Simply amazing.

Yes, Mother (Stephanie Seymour) and Son (Peter Brant II). Kissing Photo Scandal was disturbing but truth came out.

I saw the photo a few days ago while browsing the web.  It was posted on Gawker.  The post was entitled, How Close It Too Close Between Mother and Son? Apparently, it is a photo of Supermodel Stephanie Seymour and her son, Peter Brant II.    From the looks of the photo, I felt uncomfortable as well because it seems too close for a mother and her son to be this intimate let alone be in a public place where photographers are hanging out.

Comments on the post ranged from loving to disturbing to whatever accusations readers were leaving on the post.

This article bugs me. Mother and son affectionately embrace (not every one has the American standard of personal space/eroticism, people) and we suggest/accuse them of incest? This seems like a really careless and malicious article to me. It’s been bugging me since I read it yesterday.

Yes, he is a man.

Whether you get it or not, that’s not the issue. You may see the famous Manila-based blogger Bryanboy in skirts and heels, donning a woman’s bag or scarf and strolling around town like it’s normal. You may not think it’s normal but androgyny is in according to Huffington Post.

Remember the inspiration that Bryanboy had for Marc Jacobs to start capturing male models wearing skirts and heels? Well, it’s definitely hot in the fashion circuits now and Andrej Pejic is one hot model in demand in most major fashion cities around the globe.

“Why the demand?”, you may wonder.  I have no clue.  But just like the hottest Christmas presents, people will pay five to ten times to purchase them just because.

Alright Haters – - Take this: How Bryanboy, Fashion Blogger, Makes Over $100,000 A Year

Huffington Post reports that Bryan Boy (Bryan Yambao) makes over $100 K a year!!  Whoah!!!    Didn’t someone say that the famous Filipino Fashion Blogger uses other people’s credit cards to travel the world far and wide?  Hmmmm.   I wonder what that person has to say now.

Over 100K per year includes winnings of $100K from a contest though.. but still.  Do you know that he also gets to stay in a NYC apartment for a year – - FOR FREE?! Advertisers are probably knocking on his blogging door to get the chance to be featured on his world-famous blog.  He got to meet high falutin fashion celebs like Marc Jacobs and Anna Wintour.  Now, a write-up on the Huffington Post?  What else is there to ask for?

Man – - this is what I’m talking about.  Do the thing that you love – - and you will never ever work a day in your life…

You heard it!  Kate Middleton’s blue engagement dress version created by Tesco’s  for 16 pounds sold out – in an hour!!  With a business boosted by a princess, you know that likely stores will follow suit.

Well, today – it was unveiled by chain Peacocks that they will be selling their version of the dress for 14 pounds.  Kate Middleton is already setting fashion records by just being engaged to Prince William.  How much more of an influence would she be when she officially becomes Princess Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011.

I must tell you – her charm and being soft-spoken reminds me so much of Princess Diana.  It’s an instant love at first sight.

Well, well.  I have been waiting for days!  The first post was juicy and many more people were becoming hungry for more juice about the alleged credit card fraud makings of a Pinoy Fashion Blogger.  The post was hard to bear but was making a bit of sense.  Besides, the witnesses are first-hand witnesses of the alleged crimes.

Shopping before noon?  Losing Project Runway Philippines because of a $1000.00 restaurant bill?  Whoah!   Questions as to why a person who’s not even a US resident can own so many US credit cards *with different names other than his own*?  Hmmm.

Oh my goodness. Brewing scandalous allegations against the Filipino Fashion blogger. Ouch!

There has been a long history of back and forth dirt-throwing between blogs over the years.  I have been a part (only as a witness) to the blog fights that have rocked the blogosphere in the past three years that I have been blogging.

A certain Pinoy fashion blogger is again under attack with allegations of fraud and blackmail.  I was a totally shocked when I read the post and my oh my, the allegations are serious.

Madonna and daughter Lourdes launches “Material Girl” clothing line.

Amazing.  This mother and daughter pair surely are a team. Lourdes collaborated with her mom – the pop and fashion icon Madonna -  in creating a new clothing line and launched it at Macy’s in New York’s Herald Square.

In an interview, Lola (Lourdes) actually spoke with Access Hollywood while on the “pink carpet”.  She was asked many questions including whether she raids her mom’s closet for clothes or not.  She admitted to it and even said that she loves Madonna’s shoes

Watch out for Lourdes.   She is going to be a fashion mogul.

The designs and accessories of the new clothing line resembles Madonna’s outfits from the eighties.  Remember, fashion is a cycle…. it’s all coming back!

Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress – Yay or Nay? Think maggots.

Meat dress. Check!

Up till now, I am still guessing whether Lady Gaga’s VMA meat dress was real.  I have looked at every photo flashed on TV and on the internet and I still couldn’t tell.  It’s been days and it still bothers me.  It’s not because I’m a vegetarian or anything.  Just imagine, it was her third or fourth outfit change that evening.  How did they keep that dress fresh?   In a refrigerator?

i actually thought that her dress was cool until I found out it was made out of fresh meat.  Yuck!  I’ll give her 10 for originality and a 10 for disgusting.  Just imagine what lurked inside those pieces of meat.

Former Miss Universe contestant from Mexico Ines Sainz, can be likened to Erin Andrews as the hottest sports reporter equivalent in Mexico. She recently tweeted the picture above to show what she was wearing during the day of the incident.

It was alleged that Ines Sainz was harassed by members of the New York Jets at their practice facility while trying to do a story on Mark Sanchez.

I am pleasantly surprised at the participation of my readers regarding the Best Gown Star Magic Ball 2010.  This is the post that has received more than 60,000 votes so far within days from all over the world.  The fans are as excited as I am to find out who will win this voting contest.

Supporters of Tricia Santos,  Kim Chiu, An Li, and Devon Seron flocked the post supporting their idols to the maximum level!!  It’s fun to know that supporters even posted the link on their Facebook Fan pages of their idols!

Everyone was looking forward to the Star Magic Ball 2010.  Thousands of people came to my site looking for pictures of the event.  My apologies if I was a bit late in posting the photos because Chuva Chienes took a weekend holiday for Labor Day Weekend (photos to come soon!).

Why should Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj appear on Oprah?

She faced many challenges to get to where she is. She showed the world what “resilience” meant. Her determination gained her a lot of fans all over the globe. Her name: Maria Venus Raj, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe (Ms. Philippines-Universe).

Why is it that after several days from the Miss Universe Pageant’s conclusion does she still grace the television screens and newspapers all over? The Washington Post had a write-up about her, ABC News with Diane Sawyer touched on the question that was asked of her during the pageant. Twitter exploded with the trend word, “major, major” for several days. Huffington Post even chimed in and ran a poll to see if her answer cost her the crown. Facebook was filled with comments and support even though she placed fourth runner-up. Top 5 was a crowning glory for Ms. Venus Raj and her country, The Philippines.

What’s your biggest mistake is not an easy question… Venus Raj was not alone.

Filipinos are still reeling from the experience of having the chance to see their beautiful Miss Philippines-Universe contestant who made it to the TOP 5 during the Miss Universe contest in Las Vegas. We are all very proud of the accomplishment that Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj achieved during the pageant.

It has been more than 10 years since we made it when Miss Mirriam Quiambao took 1st Runner-Up in 1999. All eyes were on Venus. Until the question and answer portion. According to my friend who was present at the event in Las Vegas, you could hear people with a gasp of surprise at Venus’ response to the question that was posed by actor Billy Baldwin.

For almost three decades in the music and fashion industry, I can say that Madonna still hasn’t lost her touch. She is still highly-desired by fashion photographers around the world.

The new Dolce & Gabbana campaign features the icon in great photographs shot by Steve Klein for AW10/11.

The photos are as interesting and fascinating as the icon herself.

It reminds me of the photo book she published way back when but this is more on the “G” side rather than the “X” side.

Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete wins Miss Universe 2010

Thanks to all the folks that came by during my LIVE BLOGGING of the Miss Universe Pageant.  Although I was disappointed with Venus Raj’s answer to the question posted by Mr. William Baldwin, I am still proud of her making it to the TOP 5.  Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Maria Venus Raj took 4th runner up.

Congratulations to Venus Raj as well because it seems easy for us to say that you could have answered better but we don’t know how it feels to be nervous on stage with the whole world watching you.  You did well for us and we are proud of you taking 4th Runner up.

Miss Mexico (which was tough to beat) won the coveted title of Miss Universe 2010.  Congratulations Mexico!!

Walk that walk Miss Venus Raj!  She looked so confident during the Preliminaries most specially when she wore her hair up and walked with the beautiful silver evening gown.

My friends are flying to Las Vegas this Sunday, August 22nd to witness the crowning of Miss Universe 2010. It would be more than special for them (one of our friends attending is terminally ill) if Miss Venus Raj takes home the crown.

One of the traditions of the Miss Universe pageant is to have the contestants represent their native land by wearing a version of their National Costume. Designers are given free-reign over the design and how they could best represent the contestant’s country.

I think that this year’s representation for the Philippines is good in a way that the traditional baro’t saya was given a bit of a modern flair with an obvious Spanish influence.

Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Maria Venus Raj was well-supported by fans and Filipinos alike during the Miss Universe 2010 National Costume Presentation Show at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, August 16th.

I think she has the crown already! Miss Philippines-Universe Venus Raj

I was amazed by her personality and how charming she is. This is the very first time I’ve seen a video of Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Miss Venus Raj and I can’t help but say that if she remains that calm and collected during the pageant, she definitely has a very good chance to take the crown home. She speaks very well, she’s animated – - she’s deserving to be Miss Universe!!!

Isn’t this ridiculous? Come on. Miss Teen Waganui (Olivia O’ Neil) is 15-years old. She hasn’t even started to live her life yet and for dyeing her hair and causing her to lose a pageannt crown is absurd! Although I agree that she fits the blonde look better, it’s still no reason for her to be de-throned because she changed her look. 15-year old girls do that. It’s a time in your life when you experiment with things.

Who is this Barbara Osborne anyway (pageant organizer). How could she tell a 15-year old girl – after admitting to her that she dyed her hair black – was told that she wouldn’t go far in life? Gimme a break!

Mary Kate Olsen, the half of the Olsen Twins speaks up on an interview with Marie Claire about The Row Fashion Line and her “not wishing her upbringing on anyone”.

Now 24-years old, the Full House then-child-actress has turned to fashion.  She designs her own line and considers designing as her “day job”.

She also talks about suffering from an eating disorder and learning that it is very “important to be able to talk to someone when something’s wrong”.

You must note that she was a close friend of the late Heath Ledger.

The Wedding and the Fashion: Chelsea Clinton in her Vera Wang Wedding Gown – Photos.

Well, the best kept secret is out.  The world already knows who Chelsea Clinton wore for her special day.  According to US Magazine.com, her wedding gown and all the bridesmaids’ dresses was created by Vera Wang unlike previously assumed to be Oscar de la Renta.

The wedding gown was described as:

“a strapless, raw-edged laser cut swirling silk organza Vera Wang ball skirt and train, with a silk tulle diagonally draped bodice accented by an embellished belt”
