Rihanna speaks on 20/20 which will be airing tonight. When asked how she felt that night, she responded:
“When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop? He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked-out. There was no person when I looked at him.”

Oh sheeesh!! This is news now? I know, I know. This is news because everybody thinks that Michael Buble is this clean-cut kid who’s not done anything horrible in his lifetime right? Wake up and smell the burning toast sister!! Every one of us – - and I am including every one here (yes, including you ms/mr innocent!) has done something in our lifetime that we don’t want to be in the front cover of a magazine or the newspaper. This is a past for Michael Buble (or is it?!)

“I’d worked from 16 years old until 26 years old… then I got a couple of big breaks, but the label couldn’t give a s**t about me. They thought I’d sell 50,000 records in my lifetime.
“But they knew they wanted to market me as the clean-cut sweet kid who the mums would love. I’m proud of what I did but it wasn’t me, I was just surviving.”
So what?! It’s not something I will recommend everybody to do but we are people and people go through things in life. God does not give you the people you want, he gives you the people you need. to love you, hate you, to hurt you, despise you, use you, praise you and attack you… but that is the formula to make you the person you are meant to be…

The movie documenting Michael Jackson’s preparation for his This Is It concert in London made a mark as celebrities flocked to the overnight premiere of the movie before it is to open to theaters nationwide tonight.
Elizabeth Taylor sent tweets of her experience after seeing the film and said that we should listen to the lyrics of the songs that Michael sang. Words from a genius with a big heart like “Man in the Mirror”, “Heal the World” and many others.

As predicted by many, Adam Lambert performs as a “Glampire”
American Idol’s Adam Lambert made an appearance at Party City’s Halloween Industry Awards Party. Many bloggers predicted that he’s going to dress up and should dress up as a “Glampire”. Well folks! WISH GRANTED.

The album cover for Adam Lambert’s album entitled, “For Your Entertainment” is quite bold. Ha! And I thought I would be the only one who’s going to be shocked that he would be this bold. But I guess, it’s an artist’s perspective.
Someone already mentioned that it looks like Xanadu-remake. For those of you who don’t know Xanadu (gosh has it been that long?), it was a film starring Olivia Newton-John. See if you can spot the difference.

Has Madonna been talking to Oprah? She is set to open a school for girls in Malawi.
According to reports by CNN, Madonna will be in the African nation of Malawi to break ground for the building of a school for girls. She has been heavily involved with Malawi after she adopted two of her children from there.
The school — Raising Malawi Academy for Girls — will focus on empowering women to become leaders, the singer said on a Web site run by her charity. It will be built in the capital, Lilongwe.
Wow! Although it is a very admirable thing to do, I hope she protects the children there more than Oprah had protected hers. Remember when it was found that girls in Oprah Winfrey’s Leadership Academy for Girls were molested by the caretakers?
I hope our dear popstar has learned from that lesson and will do everything in her power to employ watchdogs to report any immediate signs of abuse.

DOJ indicts Hayden Kho, clears Dra. Vicki Belo and others in sex-video case
The Department of Justice (DOJ) yesterday, October 22, indicted cosmetic surgeon Hayden Kho for violation of the Violence Against Women and Children Act (Republic Act 9262) in connection with the controversial sex video that proliferated in May showing Kho having sex with various women, including actress Katrina Halili.
The DOJ endorsed the filing of the criminal case to the Pasig Regional Trial Court, stating that careful assessment of the merits presented by prosecution convinced the panel tasked to evaluate the case that Hayden indeed committed a serious offense, enough to put him on trial.

Kuh Ledesma and friends embark on U.S. Unity Concert Tour
Nakausap ng PEP si Ms. Kuh Ledesma sa presscon ng U.S. Unity Concert Tour na ginanap noong October 9 sa Dulcinea Restaurant sa Tomas Morato. We all have our stories right? And certainly, Madonna has her story as well. We all watched her story unfold before our eyes.. and it started more than 20 years ago and hasn’t seen the finale just yet.
She went through many transformations (if you were already alive in the 80s), all of them good and interesting. It kept the fans interested to say the least. Now, during her interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, she recalls quite a few parallel with another star… Lady Gaga.
“I see myself in Lady GaGa”, she says. “When I saw her, she didn’t have a lot of money for her production, she had holes in her fishnets, and there were mistakes everywhere. It was kind of a mess, but I can see that she has that ‘It Factor’.”
I kind of think that this is an endorsement…. or better yet, a team-up is highly likely. The 51-year old Queen of Pop is sure to be around for quite a very long time still. I hear a new Greatest Hits Collection on the way… I think I am still going to buy it.
Leona Lewis punched in the face at her book-signing

Who would have thought that such a sweet girl like Leona Lewis would be punched in the face by anyone? I didn’t! Apparently, some crazed dude went in line for 5 hours just to slap Leona Lewis during her book-signing at a bookshop. According to reports, she didn’t need treatment after she was taken by her record company to a nearby hospital for check-up.
Imagine the surprise! Leona Lewis was at a book-signing of her autobiography, Dreams when this man went up to her and slapped her. The man was taken into custody.
“Leona was utterly shocked and appalled as it came out of nowhere. The man queued up patiently, then as soon as she signed his book he smashed her in the face. He didn’t say anything to her and she is at a loss as to why anyone would do such an evil thing. She is devastated as she comes from quite a humble background and loves meeting her fans. She was doing a three-hour signing and planned to sign hundreds of books. She’s been taken to a Harley Street doctor by her record label as she needs to be fixed up as it was quite a punch and she’s very dainty.”

Jericho Rosales dedicates songs for his ex-girlfriends
A slightly feverish Jericho Rosales still managed to arrive at the press launch of his newest album Change under Star Records. According to Jericho, he picked the album title from one of his songs, “Cool Change,” which he likens to the ups and downs of his life. “Maraming changes kasi ‘yung nangyari sa akin sa nakaraang dalawang taon, change of music style, changed my label, now I’m with Star. There’s just a lot of changes that happened particularly sa sarili ko… Sabi nila kasi dito sa ‘tin ngayon, mahal na mahal natin ‘yung pag-revive ng songs so I was really thinking of one song to revive. Nung I was in the shower, I heard this song, ‘Cool Change’ and I said, ‘Oh, it’s about time.’ I listened to the lyrics parang na-realize ko, ‘if there’s one thing in my life that’s missing, it’s the time that I spent alone,’ ‘di ba? Spending time alone is not easy [so I said,] ‘Okay, this is the time I’m going to put all my energy to music, all my energy to acting, all the ideas na pumapasok sa isip ko.”
Paul Anka wrote the song, “This is It” by Michael Jackson

A song written by Paul Anka in 1991 for Safire entitled, “This is It” is exactly the same song that was released by Michael Jackson’s recording company. As soon as Paul Anka heard the song, he immediately contacted the record company who released the single.
The record company had no ill-will in the matter and have agreed to give Paul Anka 50% of all proceeds from the sale.
“They realized it’s a mistake. They realized it’s my song, they realized it’s my production of his vocal in my studio, and I’m getting 50 percent, actually, of the whole project, which is fair.”
You could surely tell that it is the same exact song – - listen to Saffire’s version of the song. Slightly a different beat but the lyrics are all the same.

Yes, the single by Michael Jackson recorded in 1991 but never released was just released overnight. It really sounds a bit prophetic but I like the song a lot.

Stephen Gately of BOYZONE dies in Spain at 33
A member of the famous Irish band, BOYZONE died in Spain on Saturday while vacationing at the famous European destination – the Island of Majorca. The group announced Stephen Gately’s death on their website Sunday.
According to reports, Gately was vacationing in the Spanish Island of Majorca with his partner named Andrew Cowles. Spanish Police reoirts that he seemed to have died after falling asleep on the couch and choking on his own vomit. Due to it being a holiday in Spain on Monday, a post-mortem examination is to be performed on Tuesday.
The hunt is on to find a mystery man who was reportedly invited by the couple to their vacation house.
The Irish band had sixteen consecutive top five hits in the United Kingdom and is one of Ireland’s best selling bands with six number one singles and four number one albums.

What’s up with the alter ego thing? Prince once changed his name to a symbol. Beyonce Knowles changed her name to Sasha Fierce. And now Jennifer Lopez, who’s got an unreleased album at the moment, is back after a two year hiatus.
Jennifer Lopez (J Lo) who released a single just last Wednesday entitled, “Fresh Out of the Oven”, is coming out with her new album but the date of the release hasn’t been set just yet. Her new name? LOLA! Uhuh! Lola is the name gurls!!!

Filipina Sylvia Ratonel makes it to Top 12 of Singapore Idol
Good news, people. Euro-Filipina Sylvia Ratonel, who works as a secretary in Singapore, joined Singapore Idol on its third season and is currently enjoying her place in the show’s Top 12 roster of other talented singing hopefuls.
The show, which is one of MediaCorp TV’s roster of television shows in Singapore, started its third run back in August 9, 2009. Over hundreds of contestants auditioned back in May 1, 2009 and forty were chosen from the top 100. Out of the forty, twenty-four were chosen to take part in the two-part Piano Show.
Legendary singer Dionne Warwick dedicates concert to Ondoy victims
Legendary American singer Dionne Warwick arrived in Manila earlier this morning, October 1, amidst the threat of typhoon Pepeng gaining strength overnight and making landfall landfall on Saturday, as announced by weather bureau PAGASA.
Nevertheless, the show will certainly go on for the multi-awarded and chart-topping singer.
Dionne Warwick, 69, will stage a concert tomorrow evening, October 2, at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City with local R&B artist Jay-R as special guest.
“I’m happy to be back in the Philippines,” Dionne told the local media during a press conference held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Ortigas Center, Quezon City.
Fame Kills Concert Tour of Lady Gaga and Kanye West Canceled

Live Nation, the promoter of the tour dubbed as “Fame Kills” has announced that the highly-anticipated concert tour of Lady Gaga and Kanye West has been canceled. The scheduled kick-off of the tour is on November 10th.
This came after the infamous “mic-grabbing” persona he displayed during the VMA awards as Taylor Swift was giving her acceptance speech. The Grammy Award-winning Kanye received a lot of negative publicity not only from people but fellow celebrities alike when he took away the spotlight from Taylor’s first and historic win.
After the much-troubling event, Kanye appeared on the Jay Leno show. He was asked by host Jay Leno, “What do you think your mom would say about this?” (Kanye’s mother passed away back in 2007 whom he had a very close relationship with).
“So many celebrities, they never take the time off,” he said. “I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, ’cause, and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve.”
Live Nation didn’t provide any explanation as to why the tour was canceled.

I read that the autopsy results showed Michael Jackson to be in good health overall at the time of his death. He did have some minor issues like arthritis on his lower back, plaque in his arteries but nothing major to cause such a sudden death.
Here are some of the findings from the Los Angeles County coroner’s autopsy of Michael Jackson:
- He was 5-foot-9 and weighed 136 pounds.
- There were dark tattoos on his eyebrows and around his eyes, a pink tattoo around his lips and what appeared to be a dark tattoo on the front of his scalp.
- He was balding and suffered from a skin disease that reduced pigment and left patches of white skin.
- Osteoarthritis was visible in the lower spine and some fingers.
- He had multiple scars around his body, including behind his ears, along one shoulder, at the base of his neck and near his navel.
- His heart was strong but his lungs were inflamed. Other organs appeared normal.
- The anesthetic propofol, four other sedatives, the pain killer Lidocaine and a resuscitative drug were found in Jackson’s system. His stomach had no discernible pills.
- No illegal drugs or alcohol were detected.
- The manner of death was ruled a homicide based, in part, on the propofol being administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical need.
- Consistent with CPR attempts, Jackson had a bruised chest and his sternum and several ribs were fractured.- Source

Martin was brought to the Makati Medical Center last night, September 19, after feeling dizzy at the conclusion of his much-anticipated concert with Gary Valenciano, dubbed AS 1. The sold-out event was staged at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
