Come on people. This is quite unfair for the artists who come to perform and get abused by people throwing bottles and the like to the performers.
If you remember, last month Tila Tequila suffered the same fate and resulted in cuts on her face after bottles were thrown from the crowd to the stage.
If I was a performer, I would be terrified. What if the security wasn’t enough to control the maddening crowd? What then?

It’s been sometime since I’ve heard anything GAGA in the past month so it was refreshing to find that Lady Gaga has featured one of her new songs “Living on the Radio” while on state in St. Paul Minnesota.

How did video not ever come out until nine months later is beyond me. I thought the world was BIEBERFIED during the last year but apparently not.
The pop-senstation Justin Bieber was hit with a water bottle in the head and said nothing but, “That didn’t feel good.” and went on to continue without any fuss.
Guess what? He’s the new endorser for the ever-popular-infomercial for acne prevention ProActiv. Cash just keeps rolling in doesn’t it?

I am unsure why there are Charice vs Justin Bieber clash going on. Was it because Charice sang Baby on Youtube and Bieber fans were annoyed? Or is it because they want to prove who’s better?
Regardless, the collaboration between Charice and Justin Bieber couldn’t be more successful. Both pop sensations have a great future ahead of them and I think we should support them as much as we can. Both Charice and Justin Bieber are Youtube wonders and they should be respected like the true artists that they are.
Most recently, Justin Bieber went on Youtube to thank his Filipino fans.

That seems to be Lady Gaga’s purpose. She still doesn’t know whether she’s going to last in the industry like Madonna has so she has to continue to re-invent herself.
I am afraid though that over exposure might get people tired of her easily than they would like to.

Charice is one piece of work. Did you know that during an interview with New York’s Z100 Radio Station, Charice was asked to show her talent in imitating other artists such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rhianna and Britney Spears? She did great on most of them but I didn’t think she did a good Lady Gaga impersonation. Overall, the radio station jockey was impressed together with the audience inside the studio.

I didn’t know whether Lady Gaga is attending a funeral or a graduation. Wearing a black veil to attend her little sister Natali’s graduation, Lady Gaga strutted her style.
Now, let me ask you this – - I wonder how it would feel to have a sister like Lady Gaga attend your graduation? It’s mind-blowing if you ask me.

Chuva Chienes is back from vacation – - woohoo~!
Many of you have probably been waiting for my vacation posts and I apologize if I haven’t had the time while on vacation to sit down and blog. The internet connection at the hotels we stayed at were very intermittent and the signal keeps going on and off.
I am back from vacation now and I must say – - second time in Brazil is still as exciting as the first time I was there. The warmth of the people made the trip more memorable.
I got another CD from DJ Pitt Garcia given to me and I would like to share it with you all. If you haven’t listened to “techno music” which is very popular in Brazil, you have to get a taste of this.
I could have danced all night when we went to The Week in Rio de Janeiro. The music was simply fantastic.

Guess What? Charice joins the GLEE Cast – - Confirmed!
Woohoo!! Guess what folks! It’s the Oprah effect or is it the Chuva effect? Hahaha! It has been confirmed that Charice will join GLEE, the most popular TV series at the moment as a regular cast member. She will be joining Finn, Puck, Rachel and be coached by Mr. Schuster… woohoo!!
It wasn’t long ago when I started a “Let’s get Charice to guest on GLEE” fan page on Facebook. I’m sure there have been talks about this way before that and I am so happy to announce that we no longer have to wait for the fan page to reach millions of fans because Charice will not only guest but become a REGULAR cast member of the TV Musical Series.

Remember my post a few days back about Greyson97 on Youtube who sang Lady Gaga‘s Paparazzi and predicted that he will soon be discovered? Well – hello!!!!!!!
The 12-year old kid’s name is Greyson Michael Chance and he was recently a guest on the Ellen Degeneres show. The kid is amazing! I am predicting that he’s going to be another Charice Pempengco who is now Charice with a number 1 song entitled Pyramid in the Billboard Dance Charts.

I don’t know who this kid is but he identifies himself as greyson97 on Youtube. When he started playing the piano, I thought.. hmmm … good stuff. Little did I know that I would see something better. He started singing Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi and I was floored. This kid is so talented and his rendition of the song was really amazing!

Does Justin Bieber really not know what “German” means?
Viral or not, Justin Bieber is a very hot item on the net right now after an interview with a TV host in New Zealand where he was asked if “Bieber” is German for basketball. True or False” – - and he couldn’t answer it. The host repeated the word several times saying “German, German” and even showed Justin the cue card only for him to respond, “We don’t say that in America.”
After the video became viral, Justin Bieber responded on a tweet saying, “I thought this interviewer in New Zealand was saying “Jewman” instead of “German” and people think I don’t know what German is.”
Hilarious! I love his voice though – and although he knows how to count in German and even translates his own German name. The Huffington Post had to ammend its post about making fun of Justin Bieber after it found a video that shows Justin really knows German even counting up to ten using the language. Must be because Justin pointed it out on Twitter saying,
“I count in GERMAN and translate my own name. Guess I know what German is. Guess home schooling is working out. Do your research next time b4 making a lame attempt at hating on a 16 year old.”
Chely Wright on her decision to come out: ‘I won’t be a whisper. I’m too proud of who I am.’
It must be “coming outfest” year this year huh? We’re still waiting for the ones who are overdue in coming out but it’s great to know that a country singer was brave enough to come out. Someone has to be the first right?
Chely Wright has revealed to People.com that she is gay and has published an autobiography entitled, “Like Me”. Although she knew about her sexuality, she hid it and even remembered praying to God asking that if He gives her music, she wouldn’t mind being alone.
But then, she also realized the God taught her not to lie. So, now she’s told the truth. Her new album, Lifted Off the Ground is due to come out as well. Good luck!

I still cannot pinpoint the magic that’s in the hands of this little boy. He’s been everywhere and amazingly successful at a very young age. Teenage girls scream and pass out every time he performs.
Yup, you got it boys. It’s Justin Bieber. I have avoided blogging about him because seriously, I don’t think he’s even ‘bloggable’ because he is so young but the tidal wave of his popularity just can’t hold me up anymore.
Just one video – One Time (featured below) with over 83 million views!! What in the world is that? This kid has got it going for him. And guess what? Charice will be performing with Justin Bieber on Oprah next month. It’s surely going to be an awesome show.
Charice explains why she is performing in gay clubs in the US
Charice continues to make her fellow Filipinos very proud as she goes around the US to promote her single “Pyramid,” a collaboration with world-wide rap sensation Iyaz, which will be part of her upcoming self-titled first international album. But there are rumors spreading online that Charice has been performing in several gay clubs in the US, something that is unexpected from a young artist like her.
Charice’s Pyramid Single is no. 7 on Billboard Dance Remix – Apologized to David Archuleta for inviting him to gay bar.
Charice is on top of the world. Have you heard her Pyramid Remix? It’s way way awesome!! No wonder she was invited to perform at Club 57 ( a very trendy gay bar in New York City ). Charice invited her friend American Idol’s David Archuleta to the gig not knowing that it was a gay bar. He of course, graciously attended – - and rumors started flying!
With his tweets, you can tell that David had no idea and Charice immediately apologized but appreciated her friends total support of her by showing up.
David Archuleta Tweeted:
“Last night in New York I got invited to go and see my friend Charice perform. Mental note to self: always ask where before you go! Wasn’t my kind of place lol, and I had no clue! I guess you live and learn. The upside was that Charice was awesome, and she has an incredible voice.

Charice responded:
“Before i go to my interviews, i just want to clear up some things, about the Saturday night. David went to see me there perform as a friend. I am really thankful to have a great friend like David…thank you for the support.
“One more thing, i just got invited there because Pyramid is no.7 on Billboard dance remix and i really had to go there to promote it. But bottomline, David just showed his support for me. and i wanna thank him.”
David Archuleta responds back:
“Aw haha thanks Charice! Sorry for causing any problems, I know you didn’t mean to cause any confusion
”I have nothing against anyone, I’m sorry if that’s how it came across. I’m just not into the partying scene lol. I have friends who are gay, and they’re great people. Whether they’re gay or not doesn’t change how I think of them.
”Charice is great and she didn’t mean to do cause any harm haha. She apologized a lot after. She’s way nice lol.”

‘Glee’ attracts 13.6 Million viewers upon its return
Glee. It’s the show that originally didn’t have an identity. They were trying to figure out what type of audience they will attract and to the producer’s surprise, they created a following greater than expected. Honestly, I didn’t even see the first season while it aired – I only saw it on DVD. I fell in love instantly and I was one of the 13.6 million viewers when the second season premiered on Tuesday night.
Did you guys see the end?! That VOGUE rendition by gym teacher Emma Pillsbury was so hilarious, I almost fell off my chair. The songs that they use are so relevant to the viewing public ages 18-49 that the viewership was up 46 per cent from its highest episode on May 19th.
Next week, Madonna lends her music to the show and it will be fabulous – I’m sure! Don’t forget to watch on April 20th!!

You are probably thinking I’m too cheesy but I love Glee! I guess it’s in the “Pinoy” blood in me.
I only got to see the first season at Flip’s house. We were sitting around one time and decided to watch the First Season of Glee! I was immediately glued to the TV and couldn’t wait to watch the next disc one after another.
