QUEEN has been one of my favorite bands of all time. And it still is!
Adam Lambert loves QUEEN as much as anyone and has never failed short in expressing his admiration for Freddie Mercury (the rock band’s lead singer).
“After the EMAs, I heard faint little slithers of a backlash from people saying: ‘You can’t replace Freddie Mercury.’ But I already knew that,” he said. “There’s no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That’s impossible. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a great honour and one I’m in no way going to shirk … Being asked to front Queen is the best thing that can possibly happen.”- MTV
Today, February 3rd is the release date of his music video for his song, “Better Than I Know Myself”. There have been many offensive comments posted on the Yahoo website about Adam Lambert and his sexuality. Many have threatened him and some wished he commit suicide while others say that they wish the “men would do to him what they did to Matthew Sheppard” (the gay teen who was beaten and left for dead in the dessert).

Katy Perry’s “E.T.” and “Firework” Have a Blast With MTV VMA Nominations
Katy Perry started with “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It” and I instantly fell in love with her then. Not until Firework, did I ever really fall in love with her totally because the song in itself radiates positive energy and the hope that being who you are speaks a lot for itself. Forget Lady Gaga’s Born This Way.. Firework was the best song for me.
And guess what? MTV VMA Nominations did give it some recognition….

Glee Cast Celebrate Diversity During Tour in Dublin with Same-Sex Kisses (VIDEO)
One thing I love about Glee and its creator Ryan Murphy is how it is managing to promote tolerance and acceptance of the gay community. Not only does it teach our youths the value of equality but the show does it in a way that’s fun and really inspiring to many people.
The video captured on cam of the Glee’s Concert Tour in Dublin showed a segment where Naya Rivera and Heather Morris kissed. But that’s not the end of it. Watch the Chris Colfer and Darren Criss surprise.

Apparently, Social Media’s hatred of Rebecca Black worked to her advantage. “FRIDAY” moves to top of pop chart.
The 13-year old girl from California named Rebecca Black has become the latest Youtube sensation but for another reason. Social Media was filled with hatred for Rebecca Black (called Cyberbullying if you ask me) and her song entitled Friday. After release on March 14, Rebecca Black was all over the web when her video for the same song went viral.
The name Rebecca Black was trending on Twitter for four straight days and not because many fans mention her name but many of them mention her name with negative comments about the song and how much they hate her.
Charlie Sheen even tweeted: “Rebecca Black, we don’t hate you because you’re famous. You’re famous because we hate you.”
That has not stopped the song Friday from climbing up the pop chart and the song is now available on iTunes. Simon Cowell is a fan.
Simon Cowell said:
“I love her [and] the fact that she’s gotten so much publicity. People are so upset about the song, but I think it’s hysterical.”
“I want to meet her. Anyone, who can create this much controversy within a week, I want to meet. I love people like that.”

Man with a female voice “Marcelito Moy” wows audiences and judges alike on Pilipinas Got Talent. (VIDEO)
I’ve never seen anything like it. Marcelito Moy, an unemployed Caviteno went to audition on Pilipinas Got Talent. The judges were unprepared for what they were about to witness. When Marcelito started singing, you could simply see the audience’s reaction and was even requested to sing another song.
The man with a female voice invoked Regine Velasquez on his song and even performed a duet “Hanggang Ngayon” (his male voice is as good as his female voice) by himself singing both Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid parts of the song!!
Kris Aquino was simply watching at first and not reacting until later on in the performance when all three judges stood up in ovation after they were surprisingly impressed by the contestant. Needless to say, Marcelito received three YES from the judges.

Gawker.com is already trashing Lady Gaga’s Music Video for Born This Way. The video is not that impressive to me either. I didn’t think it was any better than the videos from the early MTV days. Would you think something more imaginative should come out of her artful self?

Lady Gaga has been promoting her new release, “Born This Way” to her Little Monsters through Twitter. She has released the lyrics on Twitter to get her fans excited….
Twitter trends showed #bornthiswayfriday on top a couple of days ago and without a doubt, this new release will shoot up to the top of the charts.
The song was supposed to premiere on Sunday when she performs the song at the Grammy’s but of course, her fans mean a lot to her so she decided to release the single a couple days early.
Akon said that this surely will be a dance floor winner.

The rollout probably will start in Brazil, as it already had… Visit Googleoke.com.br but I don’t really get it just yet. Cause when you play the links, it’s a .wav file with words.. but I don’t know how you would call this karaoke. I was expecting an accompaniment of popular songs. The only song I can recognize from that site is Lady Gaga’s Poker Face. But even that didn’t have much to it but the background music and a garbled translation of the lyrics.

Ryan Murphy denied rumors that they will have an episode dedicated to Justin Bieber.
He has said in a statement to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton that:
“Glee is not doing a Justin Bieber tribute episode. We are not doing any more of those this season
“Those are reserved for artists with a big catalog, a la Madonna and Britney, etc.”
He did confirm however that they will have a Justin Bieber song in an upcoming episode but that’s about it.
“We are doing an episode where Sam sings a JB song to win Quinn back, and copies his hairstyle. But it’s a small part of a big episode that has a lot of other things going on.”

This is an amazing show. If you’re a Gleek, I know how much you’re looking forward to the Regionals. We’ve seen the Sectionals – - so for the meantime, you can probably satisfy your appetite for singing choruses by watching Sing-Off. I never even noticed Season 1 but now that I know it’s on, I’m going to have my DVR record every show on Wednesday nights…

This is the surprise I get whenever I watch Oprah. I have been sick the past couple of days and I have not been able to watch my recorded shows. I just watched the Oprah Show from yesterday and it featured a family from New Jersey (Hellooooo!!!) whom Michael Jackson visited for over 25 years. He spent holidays there, spent his spare time there and even recorded music down their basement!
Can you friggin believe this? I was shocked! When they showed footage of Michael Jackson in their home and showed photographs from their home, I was like – - no way! How could this family have kept this a secret for 25 years?!

I have been watching Oprah non-stop these days. My DVR is set and every night, I pour a glass of wine and watch my favorite shows – and one of them? Oprah’s Farewell Season.
Tonight, I watched Teen Idols and let me tell you. I couldn’t remember how much I loved Backstreet Boys until they appeared on Oprah and sang “I Want It That Way”. They all looked great! First time that they were all together again — just for Oprah’s 25th Year – The Farewell Season. They all still look HOT as ever!!

The Mark & Brian Show is an American radio talk show hosted by Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps, known on the air as “Mark & Brian.” The syndicated program originates weekday mornings from KLOS-FM in Los Angeles, California, and blends comedy sketches, listener phone calls, interviews with in-studio guests, and the occasional road trip.
In 1985, Thompson was working as a disc jockey when he was introduced to Phelps, whose background was in improvisational comedy. Their first joint on-air appearance was on WAPI-FM (I-95) in Birmingham, Alabama. An offer to move west and take over the morning slot at KLOS culminated in the premiere of The Mark & Brian Show in September 1987.

Charice just made it to Billboard.com’s “21 Under 21” list together with Taylor Swift (taking the top spot), Justin Bieber (2nd place) – - coming at NUMBER 4 is Charice who recently made her debut on “Glee” as the meek and shy Filipino exchange student, Sunshine Corazon. Charice even beat Miley Cyrus… Ha!
So, to those who did not believe and to those who did – Charice is well on her way. Let’s wish her well and all I can say is… GO GO GO!!
