My 2nd bet for Pilipinas Got Talent – Josephine Aton
Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here’s another one that surprised the heck out of me. I couldn’t believe the talent – it was simply astounding! My first bet, Jovit Baldivino has already reached over 1 million views on Youtube.
Josephine Aton let go of her dreams before because her father discouraged her. It’s quite a lesson to parents don’t you think? Sometimes, when a child has talent – - you have to help them nurture it, encourage them to pursue their dreams.
Now, she has a chance to fulfill that dream. She never let go and now I feel that she’s going to rise like no other… I bet she’s going to get the same attention as Jovit!

“Gaga was on top form from start to finish. Her interaction with the audience was amazing, telling stories, dedicating songs to her “little monsters” and thanking her fans continuously throughout the night. Gaga certainly knows how to make every single fan in the audience feel special and unique to her. The whole of the “Monster Ball” was breathtakingly phenomenal! She sang and danced to her hearts content. Some of my personal highlights of the night was during “LoveGame”, when she shouted, “welcome to the Monster Ball. Now dance you mother fuckers!”, the whole of the arena just went wild, it became hard to actually hear her due to the audiences screaming! Lady Gaga certainly left an impression on Newcastle, as after the concert, fans took to the city chanting “Rah, rah, ah, ah, ah, want your Bad Romance!” which could be heard for miles around Newcastle!”

It didn’t take that long for Pilipinas Got Talent’s Jovit Baldivino to gain the popularity similar to that of Susan Boyle when her video was posted on Youtube.
Jovit Baldivino performed for Pilipinas Got Talent and the video posted on Youtube has already reached 768,000 views – nearing a million views in a week. Does anyone have Ellen Degeneres’ or Oprah’s number? I’m going to call them myself! Ha!
I believe what struck the hearts of his fans is his humility. He said that if he doesn’t win, at least he was able to show the world what talents Filipinos possess. That is very admirable.

To come up with different headpieces, looks and styles every day must be a task in itself. Yet, Lady Gaga proves that she has the artistry and eccentricity to show off different outfits that screams fashion. It’s like Fashion Week but it lasts the whole year.

My first bet for Pilipinas Got Talent – Jovit Baldivino
The 16-year old contestant Jovit Baldivino didn’t strike me as someone who was going to sing with a powerful voice as he did on Pilipinas Got Talent. It was striking as much as impressive. I’m sure in no time, he’s going to meet Arnel Pineda. And imagine his perfect diction while singing in English.. and the boy is as humble as can be!

Diva Whitney Houston disappoints concert goers in Australia
I don’t know what Clive Davis is thinking now. When he expected Whitney Houston’s big comeback, he didn’t expect this. The man has given diva Whitney Houston a second chance to revive her career and it doesn’t look like it’s working.
First, Whitney gets an attitude at the airport – then she underperforms at her concert singing off-key and “taking too many breaks between songs”. Fans of the diva walked out on her and some of them actually want their money back.

After the “Crack is whack!” interview, she was never the same. I remember watching her on Oprah post-Bobby Brown and her linggo had remained ghetto-”ish” if you ask me.

There were more fires from John Mayer’s Playboy interview that meets the eye. The singer who briefly dated Jennifer Anniston and Jessica Simpson provided an interview with Playboy that caused a stir. He mentioned the N word and then later apologized for it. He talked about masturbation and a dream to direct pornography.
Well, he may have just received the offer that would fulfill his dream. X-Rated video giant, Vivid Entertainment’s founder Steven Hirsch sent a letter to John Mayer asking him to collaborate with the company to direct a pornographic film:
“We believe your incredible talent and passion, which have touched so many, can translate into a highly erotic adult film. Your understanding of the dynamics of relationships would undoubtedly appeal to both men and women.
“I think that together we can create a highly unique breakthrough film that will appeal to your millions of fans.
“Please call me at your convenience so we can discuss our working together. We’re all enthusiastic about hearing about your vision.”
I guess, the “bad publicity is still a publicity” worked for him.

Whether you’re a fan of Charice or a detractor, you will not be able to deny how good this single is. Yeah, she’s not Lady Gaga – - yet – - but this remix is enough to get you dancing.

Either you would think John Mayer is a real douchebag or you would fall in love with him. Depends on your taste. But the revealing interview that he did for Playboy just recently has got him in all kinds of crazy trouble.
There are some other stuff as well that would make you scratch your head and wonder, “Is he serious?” In total though, the interview was raw and uninhibited.

Listen to this sh*t! I never knew and omg!!! I really didn’t know. But I bet most of you knew! This is coming to light for me right now because John Mayer is under fire again after his Playboy interview. But that’s beside the point.
John Mayer “kissed and tongued” Perez Hilton? Wow! And he admits to it. He’s like – “You’re damn right I made out with him,” Mayer told a crowd in April. “I was thinking about going gay!”
His sexy and inked body is shirtless on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine – February Issue. I didn’t catch this story until now. I know that he can be a d**khead and would say things that are really offensive (like his recent interview with Playboy and how he dropped the N word and also dropped the F** bomb on the famous Perez Hilton kiss) but in his interview with Rolling Stone, he tells of a New Year’s Eve 2007 story where he planted a kiss on Perez Hilton. Queen Latifah – America, The Beautiful – Super Bowl Online
This could be one of the sports that unites everyone here in America or Americans for that matter. I was at church this evening and the church was empty. It’s Super Bowl!
I missed the opening so I had to look it up online. I found out that Carrie Underwood sang the National Anthem and Queen Latifah sang America, The Beautiful.
Both were beautifully rendered but I must say, America, The Beautiful always touches my soul whenever I hear it.

Apparently I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know that Simon Cowell is a song writer as well. Did you know that he co-wrote a song by Leona Lewis entitled “Footprints in the Sand“?
Ha! Well, Victoria Beckham couldn’t get over it and she kept asking Simon and “embarrassing him” if that was the only song he wrote.
Jessica Furney did a good interpretation though and second time in American Idol auditions. She got in.

Whoah whoah!! Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell on “American Idol”?
No way although it would be great TV should American Idol replace Simon Cowell with Howard Stern. A lot of fans will probably be turned off should this happen but hey, ratings and great TV is what it is right?
The New York Post reports that Howard Stern’s $100 Million dollar a year contract with Sirius Satellite Radio is about to expire and is looking for new opportunities. Simon Cowell got paid $50 Million dollars per year.
Just imagine Ellen Degeneres and Howard Stern… it’ll be hilarious. We will probably have a couple of walk-out scenes by Ellen. Hey, it is fun to dream.

‘We Are The World’ for Haiti – All-Star Recording
It’s done! The We Are The World ensemble for the Haiti earthquake victims looks like they gave it their all. From Babs Streisand to Kanye West , Celine Dion to Natalie Cole – - no one could ask for a better group to do the remake of We Are The World original with Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and other a-list singers.
It was just announced recently by genius Quincy Jones that he planned to do a remake of the 1985 hit song that helped that famine in Africa to do the same thing as it did then but this time for the quake victimes in Haiti. It is said to premiere “during the coverage of the Winter Olympics on NBC.”
Chuva wishes it to become as, if not more successful that the original one. Haiti needs our help and this type of gesture humbles me. More power to the stars!

The American Idol saga continues after Simon Cowell announced his departure from the famous show after this season. Last summer, judge Paula Abdul left the show due to a contract dispute.

American Idol Season 9 kicked off with a great show. One aspirant named Jermaine Sellers was highly noticeable. He sang “What if God Was One of Us” by Joane Osborne.
He’s candidate number one for me! He is a church singer or as he calls himself a “church boy” (he makes money from it) to help take care of his sick mother and has taken care of her since he was 17. He was a finalist on BET’s Sunday Best last season.
Just listen to him sing… I was amazed.

CNN reported today that the eligible bachelor already proposed marriage to Luisiana Lopilato. Oh well.
For starters, Canadian crooner Michael Buble has confirmed via his rep that he has been engaged for two months to his Argentinian actress girlfriend Luisana Loreley Lopilato.According to Buble’s camp, the singer proposed to the South American beauty two months ago in front of her family in Argentina. Soccer moms across America will surely be disappointed.
