Oh man!!! This isn’t right. Zac Efron is probably poised to be the next big thing as far as leading men in Hollywood goes. He is amazing. If you saw Charlie St. Cloud, you know that the kid is a fine actor. And now, he’s acting as a grown up. Whew! It’s been a warm winter but he just made it warmer for me. Just sayin’.

CNN Commentator Roland Martin is slammed for Controversial Tweet About David Beckham Undies Ad
Yes, Roland Martin; any hatred shown towards anyone who may or may not be attracted to the same sex is homophobia.
GLAAD came out condemning CNN Contributor Roland Martin‘s tweet when he tweeted right after David Beckham’s sexy underwear ad had aired:
“If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!”
The group has mentioned that Roland Martin has a track record in making homophobic comments and is asking CNN to fire the commentator.
The commentator was defending his tweet saying that it had to do with soccer. Hmmmm, really?

I was heartbroken when I found out Daniel Radcliffe has a mancrush on Ryan Gosling.
Let’s get one thing straight first. I started to have a crush on Daniel Radcliffe not through Harry Potter. It was when he did the broadway play for Equus is when it all happened. No, not because he was nude in most of the scenes… maybe a part of it but not all. 
I have followed him since and while reading my fave blog, Towleroad this morning – I found out that he’s on the cover of Attitude magazine which is a very popular gay magazine in the UK. You can actually get the mag on your iPad through iTunes.
I’m not here to sell magazines but I just want to let my readers know that I was heartbroken when I found out Daniel Radcliffe has a mancrush on Ryan Gosling. When asked if he might gay, he responded with this:
“No. I can quite happily say someone is handsome, good-looking, and I can see why someone would want to f**k them, but I’ve never felt that way about a man myself. There is that moment in your late teens when you ask yourself the question, ‘Am I?’ but I wasn’t…Well, this year I have a talent crush on Ryan Gosling. I think he’s fantastic and…(ahem) you know he’d be nice afterwards. He seems smart. If I was gay, I would go for a smart man.”
Well, I was not totally heartbroken because he said he would go for a smart man. I’m smart… I think. In that case, I still love him.

New York Giants Win Over New England Patriots 21-17 #SuperBowl
Woohoo! Even though I only lived in New York for five years, I somehow feel an allegiance to the state.
Tonight, New Yorkers all over are jumping with joy for New York Giant’s win over New England Patriots with a score of 21-17 at the 46th Super Bowl.
I was watching it just because I wanted to watch Madonna during the half time show (and see Tom Brady and Hernandez up-close of course!!!) but I was super excited when the Giants won. Could Eli Manning be the team’s MVP this year?

For a 53-year old performer, Madonna killed it! She rocked the performance for the Superbowl XLVI’s Half Time Show. Together with Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and Cee Lo Green – the performance went without a hitch! (Except for that one brief moment she almost fell off the bleachers! Haha! But, try performing in those shoes and see if you can remain standing!!) She was awesome!

David Archuleta to launch acting debut in the Philippines as Josh Bradley on “Nandito Ako” Mini-Series
American Idol Season 7 Runner-up and a Utah native, David Archuleta joined TV5 in the Philippines as a “Kapatid” and recorded a TV primetime series entitled, “Nandito Ako” with Jasmine Curtis Smith and Eula Caballero.
I am missing the press con since I am not based in the Philippines but I am excited for the mini-series. I just wish I can watch TV5 here in the US.
Anyway, David Archuleta is ready for his prime time acting gig. From a video blog, he mentioned something about his joining a Philippine TV network saying, “I’m excited about it. … This is a new experience for me.”
The series is set to premiere on February 20th on TV5! Are you ready folks? This is definitely a must-see soap.

This time around, he will be a guest star as a gay man on ABC’s Happy Endings airing the day after Valentine’s Day. I cannot wait!! Gay Men’s Chorus Washington, D.C. does Lady Gaga’s Born This Way
This video may be late in coming because it’s way past Christmas. The video is Washington DC’s Gay Men’s Chorus Winter Party Concert. They were pretty good and probably, since the It Gets Better video created by Colton James Boettcher using Lady Gaga’s song, HAIR received a great accolade from Gaga herself and made the video viral, it may just do it for this video too.
I have to say that the Christmas songs were pretty good but singing Born This Way in a chorus didn’t do it for me. It’s probably the dancing boys in the front that distracted or attracted me. I am not sure yet…

Madison, WI’s Colton James Boettcher was inspired to create the an amazing video below for the ItGetsBetter.org project and the Trevor Project to let teens know that life does get better. Understanding that we haven’t reached enough kids yet to let them know that it does get better, the video, with the help of social media may go viral very soon. With only 305 views as of this writing, it will probably rise overnight.

Haha! I guess it’s not more fun in the Philippines after all!
I remember when Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson fans threatened Gerald Anderson with death threats after the news broke out that he was linked to other actresses. Fans can be overbearing sometimes. They somehow put the screen and reality together thinking that it’s all one.
Well, the appearance of hunk Grant Gustin as Sebastian on Glee to be the evil one that would go between Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) caused some backlash with Klaine supporters.
“[I got], literally, death threats on Twitter saying, ‘if you break up Klaine, I will find you and I will kill you,’” Grant says. “Glee fans are intense in the best way possibly, and I appreciate it more than anything, but there was definitely backlash.”
Wow!
Anyhow, expect more of Sebastian after the Michael Jackson episode next week! He will return. Rumors about him becoming a semi-regular on the show are spreading… who knows?

How true it is! Sometimes, we follow the wind wherever it blew because we couldn’t have the bravery to show the world who we really are. Then, a turning point sometime in our lives come. That turning point seems to say, it’s time to show the world who I really am.
That is exactly what happens to a lot of us gay people who have hidden our true selves to be accepted.. But, like me – there came a time in my life when I realized that I could be a better person if I accept who I really am and show that world that nothing has changed in their eyes but my sexual preference. It happened recently to a Chippendales dancer named Jaymes Vaughan. He recently came out through an interview with QVegas magazine.
“I hope to be able to take advantage of a platform so that my fourteen-year-old self that was sitting in Chesterfield County, Virginia, might find some hope. The fourteen year old that had no one to look up to; whose mama told him he better not be gay; whose church told him he was going to hell; whose best friend killed himself because he didn’t “fit in.” Because he didn’t have any hope. I thought for so long you had to cover up who you were to be successful. I’ve realized you can be more successful by being yourself.”

Yup – We can turn things around… Bullied gay teen finds purpose
Jamie Nabozny is probably person you’ve never heard of. But, he is the one who had the very first successful lawsuit to require a public school district to protect students from anti-bullying and harrassment.
A film entitled “Bullied” was shown in Alabama back in 2010. A film about his life and how he fought back against bullying.
He didn’t know at the time that the film will change the direction of his life. He will spoke to a sold-out educational conference Hamline University in St. Paul yesterday speaking to” teachers, administrators, social workers and parents of gay, lesbian and transgender students”.
“I was no longer the kid from Wisconsin who got beat up. I was the kid from Wisconsin who got beat up, fought back and won, and made a difference for kids all across the country.”

I didn’t know he can sing! President Obama Sings Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ During Fundraiser At Apollo Theater In Harlem (VIDEO)
Some things just catches me by surprise. One thing that I didn’t know is that President Barack Obama can sing!
During a speaking engagement last night at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, the President sang Rev. Al Green‘s classic, “Let’s Stay Together” which implies – - “hey, vote for me in 2012! AND WE’LL STAY TOGETHER!”
After singing a part of the song, he did look over to the side and said, “those gusy didn’t think I would do it. I told you I was gonna do it.”
Rev. Al Green was also at the event. Imagine this, according to Politico – from his New York fundraisers on Thursday alone, he raised $3.1 million. He’s still got it! He is a charmer!

Your voice counts!! Newsweek Behold! What the Stop SOPA blackout managed to do…
Breaking news! FEDS just shutdown file-sharing website Megaupload accusing the site of multiple copyright infringement. They said that this was not in any way connected to #SOPA and #PIPA.
Yesterday, Google, Wikipedia and other famous sites like Craigslist have joined a blackout to show its position on the bills currently in congress.
If you look at the image above, being compiled by ProPublica, the 24-hour blackout worked. Those famous sites joining the blackout have encouraged regular readers to contact their local officials and senators and ask them to abandon support for PIPA and SOPA.
That was the effect. 15 dropped their support of the bills and gained 70 opponents. That’s the power of the internet. And if we do not act, this power will be taken away from us.
Google has since collected 7 million signatures in protest of #SOPA. If you haven’t acted yet, now is the time to make that call, to write that letter. If you need help, follow this LINK.
