I have known this for a while. My fellow blogger and friend from Louis Vuitton Lover alerted me of this news when he saw the photo below from his friend’s Facebook page.
Apparently, LV Lover’s classmate from college is now the PR Manager involved in the discussions with Zac Efron to model for Penshoppe.
I would die to meet Zac in person!!!
The actor has confirmed that he’s scheduled to visit the Philippines soon, saying as well that his dad had stayed in the Philippines and have said nice things about the country.
The start relayed this statement during an interview with Ricky Lo of Philippine Star:
“Well, first of all this is an amazing, amazing excuse to go to the Philippines. I’ve always wanted to visit the Philippines. My dad stayed for a long time in the Philippines and he has been telling me great stories about it. I’m looking forward to go surfing, I wanna dive, I wanna swim with the whale sharks, I just wanna hang around, I wanna…yes, I wanna go to the Philippines!”
He also mentioned that his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens is half-Filipino.

”I’ve only seen a rough cut of the film, but at the end of that thing I was squirming. I was at the bottom of my seat, like, ‘Arghhh!’ And they’re like, ‘Where did you go Zac?’ and I’m like, ‘I’m on the floor, is it over? Is it over?’”

The judges on American Idol may have just found THE WINNER on half-Filipino, half-Mexican contestant, Jessica Sanchez. When she performed “I Will Always Love You” last month, she received raved reviews. The legendary Whitney Houston cannot be matched but she came close.
Her recent performance of a more upbeat song by the same legendary artist may have scored points not only for the viewers but for the judges as well since Jennifer Lopez was in awe that such a voice can come from a tiny body like Jessica’s saying:
“Your vocals just make everything go away for me. I listen to you and I can’t believe those vocals are coming out of that little body.”

It’s no surprise to anyone that Hunger Games took in the top spot over the weekend as the big winner for box office ticket sales. With a record breaking midnight opening film at $19.7 million, estimates say that they expected the opening weekend to be around 70-90 million. Well, it clearly surpassed that. The movie took in $155 million dollars by the time the weekend of March 23rd.

It’s got it! I didn’t get to participate in the midnight showing but I am telling y’all – - this weekend will not be over until I see Hunger Games!
It is now rated the 7th highest midnight opening film in history. Wow!
Estimated to gross over $150 million on its opening weekend, Hunger Games will likely be up there with Harry Potter and the Twilight Series… but we’ll see.

The reaction of the people around are usually good and it’s a good sign that we are moving as a generation into something positive. We’re more accepting. And the likelihood of anyone knowing someone in their life who is gay is very high. Being gay does not change a person’s character, only his sexual preference.

Jason Russell, the founder of KONY 2012 project had a viral video of his own after KONY 2012 became the most viral video of all time.
Last Friday, Jason Russell was arrested in San Diego for alledgedly “masturbating in public”. Then, a video appeared on TMZ showing a nude man on the street corner (alleged to be Jason Russell) shouting expletives and almost looked like he’s on something.
The video was posted on Gawker.com and if you watch it, you will see the man pacing back and forth, swishing and stretching.
“Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday. Jason’s passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time.”

This rant is in response to the many comments about Jason Russell possibly being gay based on nothing but the commenters “feelings” or ” gaydar” or whatever.
I don’t give a flying fig if this man is gay.
He isn’t living as a gay man.
If he and his group are fundies who take money from anti-homosexual conservative groups because they support that agenda, it only matters if he’s gay IF he’s in any way acting or livingg as a gay man.
I am SICK and TIRED of some guy being called out as gay because he’s flamboyant, lisps, and loooooooves the theatre. Until he says “I’m gay, y’all!” or is seen or known to fuck guys (and, no, that one time in college doesn’t count) then he’s just some guy who likes scarves, is sibilant, and thinks Elaine Paige is the bees knees. And possibly has made the effort to live as a heterosexual for whatever reason.
He ain’t gay.
Being gay isn’t like being a certain ethnicity or gender. It’s all internal until one actually acts upon it. If he’s been living as a heterosexual, then that’s what he to the external world is until he acts differently. You can be gay but if you never admit it, even to yourself, or act upon it, then how is the external world to know differently?
Because NONE of us is a goddamn mind-reader.
Now, if any of you speculating this guy is gay because of tired ass sterotypes actually KNOWS something that makes clear is has been fucking guys on the regular, then that’s worth hearing.
He may well be gay.
But right now, all I know is he’s an attention-seeker who may or may not be batshit crazy.
And that ain’t good.

The man who helped raise awareness of the brutality of Uganda’s Joseph Kony in a viral video called KONY 2012 , Jason Russell, was arrested in San Diego last Friday according to US News. He was caught allegedly masturbating in public and acting bizarre and erratic.
A new video just surfaced of Jason Russell, naked and yelling profanities, running back and forth in a street corner.
Friends and family say that Jason was admitted to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation and that he “did some irrational things brought on by extreme exhaustion and dehydration“.
But I believe in what his wife said in an interview after the incident:
“On our end the focus remains only on his health, and protecting our family. We’ll take care of Jason, you take care of the work. The message of the film remains the same: stop at nothing.”

It was a grand gesture that caught the attention of headline news sources and fashionistas around the globe.
Guess what? It is rumored to have a price tag of $8 million dollars. Rumors got started on how much the production cost was when Business of Fashion tweeted, “OK, apparently that custom built @LouisVuitton train at the A/W 2012 show cost 8 MILLION DOLLARS.”
People are trying to find out if this is true but Louis Vuitton declined to comment.

So: my brother came out that he was Bisexual last year and it was one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do and one of the most courageous. He was most nervous about coming out to my old school Italian father who can be a bit of a hardass but mush at heart. So my brother decided to get born this way tattooed on his wrist in gagas handwriting after he met her, for obvious reasons, and it meant and still does a lot to him. My dad yesterday before Dylan came home for spring break got born this way in Italian tattooed on his wrist to show his acceptance and deep love for his only son who he is so proud of every day. I love my family.

Filipino-American Glee star, Darren Criss accepted a donation from the Hollywood Foreign Press on behalf of typhoon “Sendong” victims in the Philippines.
The amount donated was $25,000 USD and will be part of UNICEF Philippines to help continue its work with children affected by the storm. Darren Criss is half-Filipino and half-Irish, born from a Filipina mother from Cebu, Philippines and an Irish-American father from Pennsylvania.
