Corey Monteith from Glee – isn’t he the cutest?
I was at a friend’s house two weekends ago and it happened to be a boring night so he asked me if I have seen Glee yet. He said that his boyfriend just got the first season DVD and asked if I would like to see it.
I was like… hmmm – I guess?
So, we started the first disc. At that very moment, I was hooked. Specially the guy who plays the jock Corey Monteith. I was instantly in love.
Well, rumors has it from E! that there will be surprise couplings in the next season. Who would it be? If you haven’t seen the first season – I am telling you – - go to the nearest video store and get caught up. It’s more addicting than … … sex? Ha!

Ruffa Gutierrez accepts Kris Aquino’s apology

(CLICK HERE to read related story.)
Unang humingi ng paumanhin si Kris kay Ruffa through online, sa pamamagitan ng text message na ipinadala niya sa PEP na nailathala ng madaling-araw ng March 8. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)
TNS National TV Ratings (March 5-8): Agua Bendita and Wowowee lead ABS-CBN’s domination

ABS-CBN shows Agua Bendita and Wowowee continue to dominate the weekday ratings in the latest overnight ratings of Taylor Nelson Sonofres (TNS) among national households.
Agua Bendita leads the campaign of ABS-CBN shows in the primetime race, followed by Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, TV Patrol World, and Habang May Buhay.
Other Kapamilya shows figuring prominently in the Top 10 are Tanging Yaman and Rubi.
On the other hand, the GMA-7 programs that made it in the winners’ circle are Panday Kids, The Last Prince, Diva, and 24 Oras.
In the daytime race, Wowowee is still on top with Showtime a close second. Showtime was preempted, though, last Monday, March 8, to give way to the telecast of the 82nd Academy Awards.
AGB Mega Manila TV Ratings March 5-8: Panday Kids scores against Agua Bendita

GMA-7’s Panday Kids and The Last Prince managed to squeeze past ABS-CBN’s Agua Bendita and Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo last night, March 8, to take the top two spots in primetime viewing.
Panday Kids posted a rating of 33.7 percent, closely followed by The Last Prince with 33.3 percent, while Agua Bendita and Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo tied for third place with identical 32.1 percent.
GMA-7 primetime newscast 24 Oras took the fourth spot with 31.2 percent while ABS-CBN drama Habang May Buhay occupied the fifth spot with 28.7 percent.
However, it was Agua Bendita and Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo which ruled the primetime race last Friday, March 5. Agua Bendita was at No. 1 with 32.6 percent while Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo was second with 31.4 percent. The Last Prince (30.4 percent) and Panday Kids (29.4 percent) took the third and fourth slots, while Diva climbed to No. 5 with 29.3 percent.
In the daytime race, Eat Bulaga! was able to beat Wowowee, 19.5 percent vs. 17 percent, yesterday. Showtime was preempted by the satellite telecast of the 82nd Oscar Awards. Last Friday, Eat Bulaga! only came in third place last Friday, behind Showtime and Wowowee.
PART 2: Kris Aquino apologizes to Ruffa Gutierrez

I, for one didn’t think Kris Aquino meant any harm with her comment. I believe, just as a good co-worker would tell anyone leaving a company they both worked for – it was a sign of affection. A little teasing perhaps.
The reason for the reaction that Kris got from Ruffa Gutierrez may be due to something deeper than just the comment. Just like Anabelle Rama stated, there were times that Ruffa would come home and cry and tell stories about how Kris Aquino had always knocked her down with her comments on the show. Kris may not even be aware that Ruffa had deep-seated animosity towards her due to her treatment of Ruffa on the show. This is just my opinion.
Ruffa Gutierrez walks out of The Buzz because of Kris Aquino (VIDEO)
This controversy is brewing by the minute. I haven’t had time to blog about it but you can watch the video for now to get caught up on what happened by watching the video below. Anabelle Rama is already chiming in like her usual self, rattling all the stations with her comments and harsh remarks.
Take a look:
This was the whole segment – watch the end when Ruffa got teary-eyed when Kris teased her about her leaving the show.
This was the explosive response of Anabelle Rama on Showbiz Central.

My 2nd bet for Pilipinas Got Talent – Josephine Aton
Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here’s another one that surprised the heck out of me. I couldn’t believe the talent – it was simply astounding! My first bet, Jovit Baldivino has already reached over 1 million views on Youtube.
Josephine Aton let go of her dreams before because her father discouraged her. It’s quite a lesson to parents don’t you think? Sometimes, when a child has talent – - you have to help them nurture it, encourage them to pursue their dreams.
Now, she has a chance to fulfill that dream. She never let go and now I feel that she’s going to rise like no other… I bet she’s going to get the same attention as Jovit!
Presenting – - Josephine Aton as she sings I Believe (thanks to kapamstk for the VID upload!)
Who “Wants Manboobs,” like Kellan Lutz?

UsMagazine.com reports that Kellan Lutz is jealous of his Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson. He was quoted as saying, “He’s a talented m******ucker!”.
You’ve seen Kellan Lutz shirtless haven’t you? I wouldn’t necessarily call in “manboobs” though but according to Kellan, “He (Pattinson) asks me what I do to work out because he wants man boobs like me.”
At one point, the Calvin Klein underwear model was helping Robert Pattinson bulk up by giving him a supply of Muscle Milk and Isopure protein shakes. However, he didn’t like it asking, “How do you drink this stuff?!”
What are manboobs? I think these are manboobs::
But even that can be repaired…. it can turn to this! Belo – - are you there? Rob Pattinson might need your help.
Pilipinas Got Talent’s Jovit Baldivino Soars – Facebook fans reaches 13K
It didn’t take that long for Pilipinas Got Talent’s Jovit Baldivino to gain the popularity similar to that of Susan Boyle when her video was posted on Youtube.
Jovit Baldivino performed for Pilipinas Got Talent and the video posted on Youtube has already reached 768,000 views – nearing a million views in a week. Does anyone have Ellen Degeneres’ or Oprah’s number? I’m going to call them myself! Ha!
I believe what struck the hearts of his fans is his humility. He said that if he doesn’t win, at least he was able to show the world what talents Filipinos possess. That is very admirable.
And Jovit – - I wish you all the best. Become a fan of Jovit on Facebook. Watch the video here.
The new Nora Aunor explains why she underwent plastic surgery
Superstar Nora Aunor underwent plastic surgery as part of her plan to return to show business. The legendary actress has been absent for years, and 2010 may be Nora’s comeback year. She jumpstarted her career via two endorsement deals in Japan.
Showbiz Central aired a segment yesterday, February 28, featuring the Superstar as she has reconstructed her image, revealing her new face after her photo shoot for the Japanese companies. The confident and now glowing actress faced local cameras for the first time looking nothing short of amazing.
Host to Mr. Gay World 2011 – - Manila, Philippines
The recently concluded Mr. Gay World 2010 in Oslo, Norway was an outstanding success and if you have been following the pageant, the winner was Mr. Charl Van Den Berg from South Africa.
Oslo welcomed the 2010 delegates with open arms and I’m sure, Mr. Gay World Philippines, David Noel Bosley had a great experience and have lots of memories to share.
What I found on the site is that Mr. Gay World 2011’s host city will be Manila, Philippines! The welcome video was recently uploaded on Youtube and I am glad to share it with you.
My first bet for Pilipinas Got Talent – Jovit Baldivino
The 16-year old contestant Jovit Baldivino didn’t strike me as someone who was going to sing with a powerful voice as he did on Pilipinas Got Talent. It was striking as much as impressive. I’m sure in no time, he’s going to meet Arnel Pineda. And imagine his perfect diction while singing in English.. and the boy is as humble as can be!

ELECTION WATCH: Sen. Bong Revilla: “Gusto nila akong pabagsakin.”

An audio file circulating on the Internet, featuring a voice that sounds like Bong Revilla’s, has dragged the senator into issues of election fraud in Cavite.
The reelectionist Revilla, in an interview, has denied that the tape is authentic and suggested that it may have been engineered.
He told PEP associate editor Rommel Llanes, at a dinner for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) last night, February 26, that sound bites from old recordings of his voice may have been spliced together to make him sound like he was talking about plans to cheat in the coming May 10, 2010 elections.

Rustom is to Bebe, Sasha Fierce is to Beyonce: ‘Sasha Fierce is Done!’
Sasha Fierce is done, says Beyonce of her alter ego. “I killed her!”
That is what Beyonce is saying now that her “I am Sasha Fierce Tour” is officially over.
The diva is set to finish her “to-do list” before she does anything else. She said that she wanted to learn how to cook and paint, she also wants to visit museums, stay home and relax and “just watch television”.
Can’t blame the girl, she worked her arse off and desperately needs a break.
When asked if she wants a baby (she’s been married to Jay-Z for almost 2 years now), she responded:
“Eventually. When it happens it happens… I definitely want a family. I’m too close to my mother, I have the best mother, you know. I can only hope the relationship I have with my mother, I can have with my kids whenever I decided to have them.”

Has anything – or will anything change in Philippine politics? Bong Revilla Youtube Scandal
I have seen this posted on Facebook probably four times today. I listened to it and I couldn’t believe it. Whether this is true or not, it’s something to be concerned about. The voice sounds so much like Bong Revilla’s voice and I am unsure who’s behind the persona who uploaded it on Youtube but this is BIG.
Are the threats for real? Blatant cheating still around? And the cops? “Sa ‘ten ang pulis!” ?? What the heck is going on? Listen in and find out. Is this a credible recording? You decide.

Vice Ganda Tough Ten on The BUZZ (VIDEO)
One of the hottest comedians in the Philippines right now is Vice Ganda. I cannot stop watching him on Youtube and I hope he can make his way to New York or New Jersey so I can watch him in person. Hoping to meet him too – - wish ko lang..hahaha! I love him.
Watch him on Tough Ten as he appeared on The Buzz on Sunday, February 21st. He is so real. It was so touching when he was asked about his mom when his tears fell and spoke from the heart.

Dancing Lolas on Pilipinas Got Talent – Bravo!
I cannot get over this. Thanks to Chuvaness for sharing this on Facebook, I just had to post it.
You see, age is not about numbers really. There are no words to express the joy in these grandmas’ faces when they got in with triple yes from the judges of Pilipinas Got Talent. In a country where respect for elders is very much alive, I kind of missed my own lola a little bit from watching this. She had the same joy and energy for life. Kris Aquino and Ai Ai delas Alas obviously enjoyed the performance of Oldies & Goodies Grandmas and so did Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford.
Watch the vid – - it’s truly fun.
Polo Ravales: “Nane-nega ako pag may lovelife ako.

Brazilian Models Daniel Matsunaga and Fabinho
Brazil, How Do I Love Thee!
Memories of Rio and Sao Paulo are still fresh in my mind. I am about to plan my next trip this coming spring landing in Sao Paulo and going to Rio de Janeiro and maybe a few days in Argentina as well. Why?
Because I love the men of Brazil! Haha!
Well, did you know that Brazilian models Fabinho and Daniel Matsunaga are both going to be a part of an Indie flick entitled, D’ Survivors? They will be joined by other hunks such as Rocky Salumbides, Lemuel Pelayo, Fabio Ide, Roldunne Mendoza, Kerbie Zamore, Jubail Andres and Aaron Tuiza.
But of course, you have to have a girl in it – otherwise it will be coined as another gay indie film. The girl is Mossimo Bikini Summit ‘09 finalist Darlene Anderson.
Election Philippines 2010 Poll – See the most current results
Pretty soon, the candidates for the Philippine Elections in 2010 will be able to campaign. The official start of campaigning is about to start for the elections that will be held on May 10, 2010.
Chuva Chienes is quite excited about the elections because this will be the very first Philippine election that would be automated and this is happening a year and a few months after the first African-American President, Barack Obama was elected into office here in the United States. People wanted change and they needed change. That’s what swept Barack Obama into office. No more “Politics as usual” – - the masses are looking for substantial changes, ending corruption, eliminating poverty, jobs jobs jobs, and more jobs.
Here’s our chance. The Philippines is hungry for change.
