It’s hard to even imagine that rising star Xian Lim was a chubby kid when he was growing up. From his interview with Janice de Belen on Showbiz Insider Report, we found out that he was bullied at a very young age and was sometimes forced to eat his lunch inside the rest room to avoid being ridiculed and bullied at the school cafeteria. But look who’s laughing now? That little ugly duckling has turned into a swan.

Alexander Xian Cruz Lim Uy is a Filipino-Chinese model and actor, also known as Xian Lim. He landed his first major acting role in 2009 when he was cast in the TV adaptation of the film Katorse. He was studying Management at the University of the East where he was also a member of the university’s men’s basketball varsity team.

Lim is known for his hosting at Binibining Pilipinas 2012

Lim is a contract artist of Star Magic. He starred in a few minor roles before landing a lead role in Katorse. In 2010, he got a supporting role in Rubi as Luis Navarro.

John Carter premiered with “okay earnings” at the Box Office. Yet there is no denying that the hot hunk who starred in the movie is one that many would like to see more of.

Taylor Kitsch was a trending topic on the web just recently after an interview with David Letterman and somehow got connected with an issue regarding customs officials in an Asian country. David Letterman mistook Taylor Kitsch’s story to have occurred in the Philippines when in fact, the issue occurred in neighboring Indonesia. Yes, Taylor Kitsch has become a star all his own. I think that only movie I saw him in was Covenant. I didn’t know anything else that he’s done but he’s apparently made at least ten films already. John Carter was his first major role.

Oh man!!!  This isn’t right.  Zac Efron is probably poised to be the next big thing as far as leading men in Hollywood goes.  He is amazing.  If you saw Charlie St. Cloud, you know that the kid is a fine actor.  And now, he’s acting as a grown up.  Whew!   It’s been a warm winter but he just made it warmer for me.  Just sayin’.

The last time I made a post for Chuva Hotness Series was a while back and maybe, just maybe – I haven’t found anyone worthy to add to our list of hunks.   Until, I came across Henry Cavill.  Now I wished I had watched Tudors.

Honestly, the first time I heard of him was when it was announced that he was taking the role of Superman as our latest Man of Steel.  It was then when I got a glimpse of how hot he was.  You can make him scruffy, give him long hair, cut his hair short, dress him in a period costume, dress him in tux, give him a pair of jeans or simply take a head shot.  He is simply adorable.

Now that I know who he is, I can’t simply get enough of him.  He’s been on my mind lately.

If there’s anyone who could closely resemble Christopher Reeves as Superman, there is no one other than the new Man of Steel, Henry Cavill. 

And, the British actor didn’t get there easily.  He works out 2.5 hours a day and eats a 5,000 calorie diet to pack on the muscle.

“You’ve got to eat protein first, then a little bit of carbs … you’ve gotta keep your hunger levels going”, says Cavill.

He doesn’t have to work out for me.  He can just be like who he is today and I will take him… although a few muscles won’t hurt.

And what did he say when he donned the read and blue suit for the first time?

“There’s no other feeling like it … I turned around and look[ed] in the mirror and you can’t really play it cool – you sort of guffaw and laugh. I thought ‘OK, holy hell, this is real, it’s not a joke anymore.”

Johnathan Rhys Meyers attempted to take his own life? Hospitalized and released.

The New York Daily News reports that Tudors star Johnathan Rhys Meyers was hospitalized in London after a an alleged suicide attempt.  The 33-year old who has already been battling a drinking problem.  He was found in his London home “slumped on the floor”.

According the The Sun, the actor refused treatment from the paramedics that answered the call for about half an hour until the cops got there.

He was eventually released on Wednesday morning and had “no comment” when asked of his condition afterwards.

Don’t understand it but I feel very sad because people battle all sorts of problems.  Some battle depression and it’s really tough to help them if professionals can’t get to them in time.

There are reports that Glee will have a spin-off that will feature the singing group, Dalton Academy Warblers.

I am a fan of the Warblers just because Darren Criss is there.  Granted, the songs they sing are songs that I love but without Darren there, would it be the same?

Darren is apparently interested in joining the spin-off should it come to fruition.  I think it’s going to be an interesting twist.  I just don’t know how long it can carry a story line.
