Kellan Lutz – A Nightmare on Elm Street – Video Trailer

The 1984 film, A Nightmare on Elm Street’s remake looks as good as the original. Coupled with Kellan Lutz’s star quality (he’s been quite as hot as Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson after Twilight)… the film is sure to be a hit.
In theaters on April 30th — until then, don’t fall asleep!
Mark Wahlberg hasn’t lost it yet. Shirtless and uh-uhm good.

The days of his Calvin Klein ads may be over but he hasn’t lost the hotness that he once had. In the film Date Nights, Mark Wahlberg (Marky Mark) appears on a scene shirtless and he looks good… you wouldn’t think that he is 39 years old with his body. Hmmm.

Ewan McGregor talks nudity and gay kisses – Out Magazine

Ewan McGregor has a new film is coming out entitled, I Love You Phillip Morris. Paired with the comedian, Jim Carrey whose worldwide film gross sales topped $4 billion dollars the magazine said – is not new to nudity or gay kisses. Several films that Ewan mentioned are Pillow Book and Velvet Goldmine where he appeared nude and kissed a guy as well. In Pillow Book, he made out with an old Japanese guy and in Velvet Goldmine, he made out with Jonathan Rhys Meyers where he actually enjoyed it.
I remember when I kissed Johnny,” says McGregor. “It was just a rush at the end of the day. It was just an electrical moment, because you look around and some of the British electrician guys — who are all mainly closeted homosexuals, I think — were sitting around going ‘Fuck, no.’ But I like kissing boys on screen. As a straight guy, it’s quite an interesting proposition. Anything on a film set that takes you by surprise like that, that gets your blood up, is good.”
The film, I Love You Phillip Morris did well at Sundance and is now ready to be shown in mainstream theaters. The film comes out on April 23rd.

It was no surprise that G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra starring Channing Tatum took the box office lead this weekend as predicted by many earning $56.2 million dollars. Julie & Julia starring Merryl Streep and Amy Adams took second place earning $20.1 million. Funny People with Adam Sandler and Judd Apatow took third place with $7.9 million according to E-Online.com.
A lot of bad reviews tweeted about how bad Channing Tatum‘s acting was but that didn’t stop movie goers from making it number one this weekend. G.I. Joe is the 1980s hit toy icon.

I read from the paper this morning that there is a shortage of Bollywood actors that a new Bollywood acting school (more like a dancing school) opened up in London. It was the creation of the phenomenal movie dad (Anupam Kher ) from Bend it Like Beckham. It opens up the window for aspiring actors to be a part of the largest film industry in the world.
I heard that people come from as far as the United States and Pakistan to enroll at this newly-opened school. And if it becomes successful in London, a branch might open up in Los Angeles.

However, a heart attack forces him into retirement. As his sense of identity starts to slip away, he begins to evaluate the state of his life — trying to reconnect with his daughter, and striking up a blossoming romance with an exotic dancer (Marisa Tomei) who is ready to start a new life. A overnight fan or an avid fan of Twilight? Download all books for free today.
Posted by chuvachienes on November 28, 2008 · 5 Comments

Like everyone else who were skeptical about Twilight (a vampire romance by Stephanie Meyer) and why it is such a hit among moviegoers, I wanted to find out what all the fuzz was about. I saw the movie the other day and to my surprise, I was drawn to it like I have never been drawn to anything since “Interview with a Vampire”.
Maybe it’s because I am a hopeless romantic or maybe it’s because I am drawn to always loving the unreachable, the improbable. Or simply, I may just be one who still look forward to that ideal relationship that is probably not real. I am a sucker for love stories.
Ever since I watched the movie, I made it my goal to read the Twilight series. I haven’t been to the bookstore yet. I was looking for the book online and found a free download site. You can download all four books for free (and if you’re not sure if you’re going to like it, don’t run spending your hard-earned money just yet).
Yes folks, for FREE! You can download the books from a link that I will disclose after the JUMP. It’s in PDF format so make sure you have Adobe Reader.
As I predicted: ‘Twilight’ takes $70.6M bite out of box office
Posted by chuvachienes on November 23, 2008 · 1 Comment

LOS ANGELES – Audiences found the vampire romance “Twilight” infectious in its opening weekend, pushing the movie to a take of $70.6 million.
Catherine Hardwicke’s film also enjoyed the biggest opening ever for a female director, blowing away the previous standard of $41.1 million set by Mimi Leder’s “Deep Impact” in 1998.
Drawing from its huge fan base of teenage girls, who fell for Stephenie Meyer’s novel of forbidden love between brooding vampire Edward Cullen and bookish high schooler Bella Swan, “Twilight” made a whopping $20,636 per theater, according to Sunday morning estimates.
And the fangirls will get another taste soon enough: Summit Entertainment, which released “Twilight,” announced during the weekend that it’s going ahead with production of “New Moon,” based on the second book in Meyer’s internationally best-selling series. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will return as its star-crossed lovers, but whether Hardwicke will be at the helm again is still being determined.

New “Dayo” theme song performed by Roots of Nature

For using 2D and 3D technology, the upcoming local animated feature Dayo can be considered a breakthrough for the animation industry of the Philippines. Yet the movie is not just about good animation since it boasts a touching story and a theme song that truly inspires.
“Lipad” is not an ordinary movie theme song as it needed brilliant collaborative efforts from really talented musical artists so as to deliver a finished product worth the billing. No less than international star Lea Salonga was tapped to sing the universally appealing composition by Jessie Lasaten and Temi Abad, which is about believing in your dreams and making them come true. While Lea provides enough power to stir the song to great heights, “Lipad” leaps further with an alternative version recorded by new band Roots of Nature.
